I was disappointed to learn he didnât spar southpaws. Straight left and upper cuts , a lesson he should have learned from Josh Taylor. Getting caught with same punch with no adjustments.Robert Garcia missed the mark the training.
This is why Ramirez didn't sign to fight Teofimo.

If you're judging by this fight, he hadn't fought in over a year. He even said it in the pulse fight interview he was obviously very disappointed with his performance and ring rust.

Ramirez has a bad habit of leaning to the right. He did better in the later rounds keeping the right hand up. Body shots really slowed down barthelemy. He should fight Barboza jr. Winner of that should fight pitbull.

He tried a couple times but it wasnât a spirited effort. He just held a high guard on the ropes for most of the fight, with no effort to get it back to the center where he was having success

That last jab on the Third sequence pushedJose off Balance. If Bart would have stepped away instead of going towards him it would have been easier to sell Knockdown. I think the punches landed while jose was down caused more damage than the actual jab. Jose has been having trouble lately. Apparently they offered Barroso a fight but he refused. I got Barroso on it.
Ramirez took way too many hard shots, at one point in the middle rounds he ate like three straight lefts without even moving his head LOL this is very bad for the longevity of his career!!!

Opponents it would be nice for Ramirez to target, Gary A. Russell, Regis Prograis, Arnold Barboza Jr, Ismael Barroso, or Jack Caterrall (maybe even Rolly). Then target a fight with Teo, Haney or Isaac Cruz.

Ramirez won by throwing lots of flurries nothing seriously harming the opponent @ all. I've seen it where men who throws power punches wins matches and the ones who throws flurries loses yet in this match the judges loves McFlurries.đđ€Łđ

Any fighter can be excused for having an off night. It happens, especially after a long lay-off. But for a former unified world champion and experience of Ramirez, to use the excuse of having been "distracted" by people he knew at ringside was just crazy. I mean....REALLY...?!
