NECA's got a knack when it comes to crafting horror figures and the 1/4th scale Jungle Hunter Predator is no different. The larger scale makes the Jungle Hunter Predator even more intimidating and imposing than he already is. The only downside is that the figure doesn't come included with an unmasked head sculpt. I have both JH and CH Ultimates, you'll love them, you can do so much with those figures And it's nice to have the HT ones to admire the detail, and the Neca ones to pose endlessly
Neca does an amazing job with these monster/aliens/non human characters. They look more intimidating in 1/4 than 1/6. I was about to get the other one with the camouflage but I wasn’t convinced. This one is the deal.
WAS SO GUTTED I SOLD MY CLOSED MOUTH AND V1 JUNGLE HUNTER😢 THO SEEING HOW THE SMALL MADS MAKE THESE POP SO DAMM GOOD ,ID PROBABLY CONCIDER ADDING HIM AGAIN AND GET A REALLY COOL DIO MADE THIS TIME ROUND AS I HAD ONLY JUST STSRTED COLLECTING AROUND 8 YEARS AGO AND WASNT INTO CHANGING MY STUFF FROM ORIGINAL TO SLIGHTLY DOING SOME CUSTOM WORK,BUT MY GOD ITS WORTH IF DONE RIGHT. MAY HAVE TO BUG DAVE FOR SOME CUSTOM BITS😁
I ordered the prime 1 jungle hunter, it’s being shipped over but will take some time to get here. In the mean time I’m doing a full redecoration, declutter of my room to fit it in. Love the original predator film, grew up on all those 80s action films.

Going to display as the BOSS then the 4 main Hot Toys below in each square. 100% display allocation for OG Predators. Predator - Predator 2 after that .................not so much. Agreed THE BIG CHAP is the one and only. Fun fact my mom took me to see Alien in 1979 I was 5 years old.............COME ON MAN!
Yes, the NECA Jungle Hunter figure has a very good sculpt, it is a really beautiful figure. one of the "details" to fix is the section that joins both eyes, that "bridge" that is too far apart between the nose/forehead, I have seen that in many custom they fix it, they remove the section corresponding to the mouth/nose/cheekbones and rearrange a few millimeters higher, The other thing is that NECA insists on painting everything corresponding to the armor silver with the aged effect, I recommend seeing the real photos on the Stan Winston Studio page so you can see that it is metal gray with a slight tone of steel blue throughout this complemented by the wear and tear all thanks to the very talented Steven Wang. The painting corresponding to the skin of the predator is also wrong, both in tone and in body pattern, that said, for anyone who likes the character it will be fine, but if you are a fan of detail, these will make noise. You must also change the mesh and put the small spikes that are only painted here on the chest, shoulders and some on the lower part of the thighs and put a cable that comes out of the plasma caster I made all those changes to my figure. PS: Excellent video (with the lighting it looks masterful).
Hi Dean, im grtting this guy this week snd i was wondering, could yiu very briefly explain what you did to weather the armor please? Id like to do it too it looks great. Is it just drybrushing?
You should look at adding accurate cables and tubes to the backpack. He is meant to have a couple of other ones connecting to the left side and a red cable leading from the backpack to the gun. Really make it pop
It bothers me that this figure doesn't come with the unmasked headsculpt. If I remember correctly there's also an unmasked version so you have to buy 2 figures.
yes the demon jungle for neca 1/4 scale is the best figure of predator i have the gort or original biomasc of the demon jungle and the face open mauth in a vertion limited 5000 model from these vertion neca made i have one i glad you have the best vertion of diablo cazador de hombres neca predator 1 / 4 scale
Some people hate to hear it but the body proportions, biomasks shape are 100 times more accurate than Hot Toys in bit versions P1 and Classic. I hope to see soon a new P1 by Inart

I saw it in forbidden plant back 2011 for I think £40 but I could be wrong, I should of bought one

All it need was the skull accessory like the ultimate and better articulation in the legs imo.

Black washes with watered down paint. Done by hand with paint brushes.

There was, they also did masked and unmasked for City hunter, then they did Elder, and Gort. Never did Shadow or "Snake" pred tho.
