- In today's video we are looking at the best animations that you probably do not see anymore.
These are units that may have amazing animations, but due to the game always getting harder the units become unuseable so we no longer really see these amazing animations.

Lr Namek Goku is honestly my favorite release EVER and still has my favorite ost in the game. I cant wait for his eza.
They did him so much justice when he released for WWDC
I completely agree with u, his animations are insane the releases after him were good too but i can found flaws in them or things that I don’t really like, while lr namek goku is perfect in my opinion.

I'm waiting impatiently the Namek EZA's. Some of my favorites unit, with my favorites scenes of my favorite arc. Since a year or two I have a google doc with a fanmade ZLR of Freeza FP that I update every new major celebration. When he will be back, it will be my number One for years.

The standby finish for the PHY Buu Duo is just so clean.. I especially love the “Thank you, Dragon Balls!” part of the animation.. Most likely my favorite in the game.
Very good animations for sure, only reason they aren’t here is bc they are still useable
reps of u7 was already cooking during the 9th anniversary with all the crazy ezas, if lr golden frieza & 17 and lr int 17 and universe 7 also get craked eza, we are in for a crazy trip, toss in teq ultimate gohan & piccolo and str ultimate gohan & golden frieza as a little dessert and things will get wild
Those 4 getting EZA’s will make sure that category never ages out 😭
I feel like the LR agl ssj duo from the metal cooler movie should be on this list. Their active skill is clean 🥶 or even phys ssj2/3 goku or int angel ssj2/3 goku
I like INT SSJ2 Goku’s animations but they are pretty stiff. PHY SSJ2 Goku still has some uses, and as much as the LR AGL SSJ Duo are struggling to keep up with the meta, you can still use him due to his leader
I just LOVE TEQ Ssj2 Gohan, I hope they dont fumble my boy's EZA.
I literally started playing dokkan just because of him, i LOVE the movie, and when i saw someone playing and using him, i knew i had to download the game.
Honorable mention to LR 17 (Team Universe 7) because those animations look great especially the one where he ends the super with a punch
I was gonna put them but some of their animations are very basic
LR int Vegeta and Goku could become a very interesting character if he gets revive buffs if someone else revives or he exchanges once a revive is activated,i could see Vegeta being a defensive monster in the early game,then falling off to get the revive and when Goku shows up he is just insane for the rest of the game.
Yeah I would imagine this is the case but Goku will be extremely tanky as well bc he has built in DR

Lr Namek Goku is still one of my favorite releases, especially the fact that his animations still gives the Z vibes while giving it the modern feel just like the Super Broly movie

If dragon ball kai looked like 1/9 of what dokkan animation can do with the art style, it feels so alive and still using the amazing lines of original Dragon ball Z, idk what happens behind the artists of dokka but they do an awesome job

INT LR Exchange Vegeta has a passive revive exchange, so it's possible the condition gets buffed with an EZA like Cell did.

I personally would've swapped INT Super Saiyan Goku out because I actually still use him a fair bit (not for any other reason than he's my 2nd favorite unit in the game) even in Red Zones and he does well enough, not that does that he does good (that's on me because I suck), but he does better than I would expect. Would probably put LR AGL Future Gohan & Trunks, LR TEQ Super Gogeta, or F2P LR PHY Saiyan Saga Goku in his spot.
We will get a chance to see this bojackhan get an eza when we get Standalone SSJ2 Youth Gohan for tanabata

Vegeta INT is actually still perfectly usable, I was able to finish Buu Red Zone with him once he revived to Goku
Still very risky tho. Definitely not an optimal option at all

If tanabata or any other is a lr namek goku, I’d pretty sure they’ll start from either start from base with the intro of him pulling up they use kaioken animations especially the kaioken x20 kamehameha and it prolly be either a active skill of him transforming into goku where is that krillen is blown up then he transforms into that iconic scene that we never got a voice from in Dokkan or it might be either a standby or a new mechanic something wit piccolo nd the spirit bomb then transform. Idk 🤣🤣🤣 but that’s my guess

And we def need a Lr First Movie Z Broly that starts in either base or restrain ssj (if it is restrain ssj, def need the animation or intro that has him walkin up nd turning into that ssj) that transforms into lssj. He could have that target mechanic too.
Possibly int vegeta to goku eza will come as soon as we get an namek saga campaign and the lr agl fp freeza and lr int ssj goku

@@legendaryred24 i think we will get it after the 9th anniversary on global and after the Phy ssjr goku black banner, its just my guest but i hope they do another planet namek saga campaign we barely lack teams with it now except for the special pose and the ginyu force team.

Unrelated but something I've always hated how in the LR Jiren 12 ki his left hand punch at the start feels really awkward since he kind of just walks into the opponent with it

Legendary Super Saiyan says that Dokkan Battle kept LR TEQ Broly's EZA for 5 years, so that they can make him become the EZA menace instead of dodo EZA long time ago.

It looks extremely stiff, the Vegeta in the exchange part looks literally like it was made in flash (just look at how weird the body moves) and they didn't even bother animating Goku's clothes moving with the wind lmao, I remember being so dissappointed by this unit's animations on release, I will admit I also like Goku's animations, but they don't save all the rest.
Edit: I just rewatched the original Vegeta death and my God does it make the dokkan version even more embarrassing, might be one of the absolute worst in the game compared to the source material, they didn't even bother attempting to follow what the anime did, they just kinda made the body weirdly move and the hand shake constantly and called it a day, the tears don't even flow, the head doesn't move like in the anime, they didn't show Vegeta ACTUALLY DYING, there is straight up nothing redeemable about it.
Chief this is an animation that came out 3 years ago on a unit that was a yellow coin unit which they barely even put effort into back then. The animations are still smooth for the time they came out, we aren’t expecting a whole death sequence, we know he dies and we get the speech and the tears. Can they recreate it? Yes, but the animations themselves are still very good
@@legendaryred24 "The best animations you never see anymore" No part of the title says "old animations", they have aged horrible for todays standards, LR TEQ Broly, LR Angel GF and 17, and LR Team U7 solo in comparison, there is absolutely no excuse.

Super stiff and lazy animation. 17 and Frieza and TEQ Broly are way higher, but doesn’t mean that there’s isn’t good for an old unit chief. Especially Goku’s animations which you conceded earlier
@@legendaryred24 Oh so Team Universe 7 has stiff animations but Vegeta's are excusable because... uhh, reasons? Is not only his Exchange animation btw, his face in the 12 ki is completely off model, looks straight up like a fanmade animation, and a bad one at that, the 18 looks fine for it's time but the ending pose looks weird too, not as bad as the 12 ki of course.
Also let me remind you of: LR AGL Super Saiyan Goku, INT LR Super Saiyan God Goku, LR UI ~Sign~ Goku, LR Broly, Cheelai and Lemo, LR Goku Black Rosé, and that's only non-dokkanfest LR's btw.
All units before LR Exchange Vegeta.
And no, my argument is not "why didn't they make into the list", what I'm asking is why do you say is fine for Vegeta to have terrible dogwater animations when way better animated units released before him? And Goku's animations aren't even that great for today's standards, hell, they aren't that great compared to some of my previously mentioned units, they aren't bad at all of course, but nothing to write home about.

Team U7 has only one good animation point and that is when 17 attacks. Their beams look like they were animated back in 2016 lol

Im sorry but Gohan had Never amazing Animation, i remember when he came out and a lot of People where upset how ist Looks. The Active is the only thing That Looks Good but 12 and 18 Ki could be better
IMO his animations are very good especially for a 10th place spot. There are some wonky issues which is why he is 10, but I mean the overall quality is there
