I have a 2018 f150 with the 5.0, I have one of the S&B Intakes on it. When I clean my filter I use a hose fan and compressed air (if able to let it sit in the sun) to get all the water out which helps it dry fast. Typically it will be dry in about 4-6 hours with my method. For anyone wondering if the sink is ok, S&B says in their video that a kitchen sink will be just fine (anything without pressure basically).

Thanks for getting out in the snow to show the final assembly. Just added one to my 2015 Duramax and its time to clean it. Your video shows the practical ways to clean and dry. Much more useful in my opinion than the manufactures video.

It says it on S&B's website. There is a chart for each filter that tells you how much to use:)

Just splurge for a spare filter & oil it before use, then you have no down time !

My deasel shop told me to always run a dry filter. Something to do with the oil getting into the turbo that was no bueno. I just change the dry filter it every 10k miles for peace of mind.

@@vidalalfaro9643 I am not trying to argue. My Diesel shop recommended the S&B cleanable filter. Everybody has their own preference on what to use. I say use what works best for you.
