Interesting... I recall the original having 2 scenarios, a prison in Brazil during the 60's-70's and one in Mexico I think...? Interesting to see the changes, they keep the scenario, the clothing, yet they are moved to a war that ended right as WW2 started and in a dark, not hot ambience.

Like it's really clear the "racism factor", apples/better fruits deporting and putting in jails oranges, making them play russian roulette just for entertainment in a ironically normal-looking room, crushing their innocence and mental sanity; the eye patch orange really did look like a war general to me, then the rescue day when someone just putted the protagonist in a place where ONLY oranges are putted, piled on top of each other, a segregation? All oranges were wearing the same clothes in that "jail"
I never knew this game have a own remake. This game is old as frick, but astonished of it having a remake. This one is kinda better than the original one, but we still can't hate the original though.👍 :]
This game has a different essence from the original, i don't really mind that, really i am glad to see people still care about this game, my only note is that the death could use some model deforming but other than that i am very happy with this remake's existance (・∀・)
A little theory, but considering there was a war in the game's lore, you can see that some of the characters probaly fought on them, like the crazy orange dude in the third round.

It’s pretty good but it does some things worse than the original 1. music doesn’t get messed up near the end. I really think they missed out on really showing his decent into madness when the original game had it be almost instant. One game is normal, and the next is not for some reason in the original. 2. The impacts are weird. One of them dies and has their face slam on the table but there’s no sound or shaking, it looks more like he lightly placed his head on the table which makes no sense because he should be going limp. 3. In the original there’s a lot more gore which this game still could have done because both here and there they are oranges. In the original you can see bits of the orange on the wall and poking out of the bullet hole but it doesn’t do that here. 4. The last two opponents are like mythical beings here for some reason. In the original they likely didn’t actually look like they did, it was because the player orange was going insane, but here he apparently has the ability to come back and bring others back to life which I think just makes things less creepy. I know it’s made by the creator of the original, but I really still wish it was a bit more like the original because it honestly feels so much creepier than this.
