All ours loved the beach, we only lived a couple of blocks from the beach. If you were taking them for a walk as soon as they realised that they weren’t going to the beach that day, they would have tantrums. The beach was like a wonderland to them, a good opportunity for a real barkfest, at all of the people at the beach, their dogs, and seagulls.

I took my mini doxie to Ocean City, MD. Halfway on the path over the sand dune she heard the sound of the waves crashing and crawled up on my shoulder. Rosie was shaking from fear so never tried again. Every night I had to take her down to the front desk for her bedtime bone. If I didn't go down they called my room to bring her down. The next year when we arrived it wasn't hi to me it was Rosie's here. The Barefoot Mailman is an awesome pet friendly hotel.

Mac is having a fantastic time. You absolutely had to shower him after beach time. I have taken dogs to the beach and it is so much fun but it has some serious work to get them free of sand❤deb.

Oh, just like watching our late, beloved Ivan when we arrived on the wide beaches on Northern Jutland, Denmark - he just ran and ran on the flat beach , sometimes chasing foam bubbles from the sea, sometimes up and down the dunes - sweet memories!
