This means that for one gift, you need 9m gems instead of just 5m (180,000 * 50 = 9,000,000).

Once the clans are done though, prices should drop pretty significantly and then the gift bag should go up to about the same price as other gift bags with exclusives and huges.
I also bought the 404 huge. Bartered with some dude for 250 million million. I sold that for a little under 400 million.
Also sell your stuff at night instead of in the morning when everybody else is waking up and selling all their junk they AFK farming while they slept. Prices go up a little in the evening and it’s easier to sell things when it’s not flooded.
