Neither the doctors or guards turn around on their own, so it’s pretty safe to get to. If the map is alerted though, there’s like 2 extra cameras and 2 extra guards. Usually an extra guard in the security room too. So you have to work around that, but neither of the extra patrolling guards can spot you through the Bodyguard disguise. Swiping the card is an illegal action but again, the guards don’t turn around to see you, and the patrolling guard won’t pay any attention to Mr. Smith chatting with you. You have to listen to his whole spiel to get the master key. If you walk away, he will stop talking when you get a few steps away and he will never give you the key. As far as who he is, he makes reference to them encountering each other before, but idk if he’s actually from an older game or if he’s referencing something in storyline that never played out in a game. I just know him as the guy in the freezer that gives me the master key lol
Might also be worth mentioning in New York, there’s a second chloroform flask in the safety deposit boxes, since the first one is usually used to knock out the guards in the security room near the vault.
Bonus for New York: The janitor's key also opens all the wall lockers and can be found in the IT office, which is relatively easy to get into even without any disguise or gear
you can also get it from the security guard in the lobby bathroom, one of the easiest disguises to get. Janitor key also opens most doors in the map and lets you escape from the second story in the back.
In Hokkaido there's a second way to get a tanto, if you spawn at the cliff path behind the surgical wing there will be a tanto stuck in the snow right next to you, it doesn't seem to appear if you spawn somewhere else. In New York there's a lethal poison pill jar in a locked cabinet in the bathroom next to the level 2 guard room.
Also good to remember that items in Freelancer mode can be in different locations, and items in the main game mode can be completely removed in Freelancer, so you have to learn 2 sets of locations. Also guards in Freelancer are psychics and can see through walls.
And they're better detectives than Batman, being able to pinpoint location of the shot you've made from Marakesh rooftop, in mere seconds. Yet they fall for easy distraction tactics ;D

So my friend, I can see you spawned in that roof in Marrakesh with the two guards and that executive looking lady with the consulate card, with her magic vision she could see me hiding the unconcious guard, through those walls. I hate that spawn so much u.u and also, for some reason I thought having a good silenced sniper could help a lot in Colorado, boy was I wrong, I rather take my time and sneak through it, it doesnt matter where you shoot from, those Colorado noc lose their shit and that alarm fucking it up real bad,I swear they rarely go out of that Searching stage, wasn't it enough for Colorado to be the worst and most boring map in the entire series, Colorado in Freelancer is just way worse than it was :(, there are 3 maps I try to avoid, Colorado, Ambrose and Isle of Sgail, but even so I pick Ambrose or even Sgail because the other maps in that Syndicate are worth it, but not Colorado, stay away from that place guys, dont try to be a hero lol
@@tacofingerz7247 Colorado, I don't try and be clever. I just distract and take out the periphery guards one by one, then slowly work my way in. Once everyone is dead, you're done. For the difficult ones, shoot them from afar then run to some place you've cleared already. Wait for them to calm down, then do it again until it's clear enough to go in.

One useful thing in Santa Fortuna is that in the Delgado office safe is a decent chunk of Merces, just like in Mendoza basement and in the New York vault there's three little bits and the data core is worth even more.
I believe you can also get a Sawn Off Bartoli 12 gage Shotgun in Ambrose Island. It’s in one of the crates in the Pirate base, the right side towards the back if you approach from the front entrance. It’s a downgrade from the gold variant, but still useful, and saves you a good bit of Merces from not having to buy it.
Yeah, there is a shotgun in one of the crates, however, you are unable to bring it back as it doesn't have a rarity level attached to it. Same with Machete in Santa Fortuna
I have no excuse for struggling so hard in this new game mode when you're out here with such great tips! There's another baseball bat in Berlin, under the counter in the coat check.

Suppressed handgun like freeze said, elite guards in the tower hold suppressed pocket smgs, and an HX-7 covert is just lying on the table there in the security room on level 4. Rob the gallery for the necklace to have a fibre wire plus the Katana that's there also.

One thing I'd like to add on, though, is that there is one more Baseball Bat location you missed in Berlin(making it the only map to have TWO of this item) on the ground floor, behind the desk that's located between the Wardrobe and Club Entrance on the map. It'll be on one of the shelves, being casually bodyblocked by a club worker. Might end up being a more convenient bat to grab depending on your run with Berlin.
There's a second chloroform flask in New York in one of the deposit boxes. Convenient, because you can use the chloroform to gas the security room, and still grab a second one to take home.
On Ambrose Island the researcher will make both Emetic and Lethal poisons for you - though It's been inconsistent for me whether they have rarity. Also, you can make an explosive block on the workbench in the Pirate base - again, I've had it had rarity and had it without rarity. It's always worth checking however.

Miami Security Office safe still has a car bomb remote explosive- it won't go back to your safehouse, but it guarantees you can blow open a safe in Miami without needing to futz around with propane or bringing your own.

Apparently, there is SOMETHING else that causes the Mendoza - Hackl 9S Covert to appear on that elite guard just inside that basement hallway (as shown). In my case, only ONCE was there a guard in that location, and he was one of the targets that run. Usually there is a commando leaning against the wall further in next to custodian cart. The leaning one only has an SMG. He did patrol back to the area with the railing above the pool of water (usually 2 commandos leaning against the railing), so perhaps THAT is who has the pistol. This one time he DID have the pistol.

For New York the epic and legendary knives in the lock boxes have been replaces with mercers which i honestly prefer. You shouldn’t be able to get 2 legendary weapons and an epic in the same level
You can get a free silver baller and 30k mercies by going through the window of the shed to the ruins in which there is a chest with these items and a fibre wire
So far I've lost 2 good, expensive silenced snipers because I climbed a ladder with a briefcase and left it behind. So yeah I could use a free sniper. 47s a pro assassin but can't carry a case up a ladder hah. Great video thanks Freeze!
I came across the machete in the coca fields at Santa Fortuna but it has no rarity, so I dropped it. However the lethal pills from Helen's basement also has no rarity but if you can bring that back, then the machete might work as well. There's also a regular baseball bat at a house near Martinez's compound at Santa Fortuna. There was one time I needed to bring a sniper and had the pacify with baseball prestige objective. I knew I can use the collector's bat at the mansion in the worst case scenario but I saw there was a regular one in the campaign on hitmaps and it's still there for freelancer.
I have to say, as a total gaming pessimist (and rightfully so), I think Freelancer is amazing. I have played 60+ hours of it and not really played (the excellent) Dead Space. I did not see that coming.
Great video. In the very end of your video, you forgot to mention the free poison from the scientist where you got the knife. Emetic and lethal poisons if you find the flower and frogs and then give them to him.
@@nah82201 You have to purchase some of them or win them as mastery rewards. The supplier won't always have all the weapons you need you he will show a random selection each time. Eventually the one you want will show up!

Theres the mud dig place beneath the bridge in Isle of Sgail with a silenced pistol, pick a shovel in the backyard near the watchtower and use It to dig the pistol. Theres also a sabre in the Tower you can pick.
In Whittleton Creek -> between the Basement and the next house are two guys argue about Explosivs ... one of them has a Remot Demo block if u ... let him drop it
Everything seem good on there location beside new york the deposit boxes had merces in it and then in the vault for me there was no thing to turn off the laser's but thanks for helping
On whittleton creek, if you go to the vacant house for sale, and disable the security to the vault, then go outside and open the garage, ring the doorbell 5 times and the vault will open and you will have a battle axe
There is also another Hackl 9S Covert you can find in Whittleton Creek. It's in the basement of the house right next to Janus'. House with two guards disguised as gardeners on the backyard. There is another guard in the basement which drops Hackl 9S Covert but I'm not sure about the circumstances which brings him there.

Aside from the lethal syringe in Colorado, you forgot that the baseball bat can be found there too. It should be on the second floor of the house by the hackers in the hallway.
I said in the video I wasn't gonna cover every baseball bat as there's so many. It's a common item which I said I wasn't even gonna include but did with a few bats because of the prestige challenge. I didn't forget anything I wanted to include.
whittleton creek: in the secret underground passage between the two houses there is a disguised construction/garbagemen worker. he is carrying hackl 9s covert suppressed pistol. there was a safe in the room when he was there, so this might be a situation similar to Mendoza where this guard with a suppressed pistol only appears when a safe is in the room. i haven't checked there when there wasn't a safe.
It'd be interesting if you could make extra merces selling weapons you have duplicates of (though saying that, I already have basically every item at this point so I've got more money than I can even spend 😅)
I screw up almost every time because I'm so set in trying to compete every level as SA/SO and some of these options means I can just open fire on guards with the right firearm, bodies don't matter, changing suit doesn't matter. I like the mode though. Just wish they'd change the original mission's scheduled events, since they don't matter at all. Overall pleased with this free update, so much so I'm tempted to buy Seven Deadly Sins now, just to make sure they get paid
Also on Hokkaido map you can spawn on ninja path and get free tanto right nex to you, though i never checked this place when i wasnt having a spawnpoint on ninja path so not sure you can just go up the path and get it for free without having to deal with security in Yuki s apartments
--The Hakl at the beginning is because the map is alerted (yellow icon next to the map) because a preceding mission had failed. You get more enemies in a alerted map-- Edit: nope I was wrong see comments
Incorrect. It's there because there's a safe on the map and he's your target. And another incorrect statement you made, you can get alerted territories from the second, third and forth portions of a campaign regardless if you failed a mission or not. Maybe you haven't got past your first showdown yet. Unlucky.
In Whittleton Creek the lethal Pills on a few of my playthroughs was a version of the lethal pills that doesn't carry over. Could just be me but I'm fairly certain I haven't seen it carry over.
There is an ICA Silverballer and a Fibrewire behind the Wooden Shed at Home, but you can only access it through the rear window. This is L76 mastery unlock. So unless your unlucky you should alreay have it by then. You can only loot it once, so consider it a spare in the event you lose those items.

Awesome! Thanks for the detailed guide. A little extra in the Hackl 9S, it can also spawn in Whittleton Creek on a guard if a safe appears at the basement of the house with the guards disguised as garbage man.
I believe the two guards on the back porch also carry them.

Sweet, thanks. For an equipment run I suggest Isle of Sgail. Suppressed handgun like freeze said, elite guards in the tower hold suppressed pocket smgs, and an HX-7 covert is just lying on the table there in the security room on level 4. Rob the gallery for the necklace to have a fibre wire plus the Katana that's there also.

Good video as usual, Freeze. One thing I'd like to add on, though, is that there is one more Baseball Bat location you missed in Berlin(making it the only map to have TWO of this item) on the ground floor, behind the desk that's located between the Wardrobe and Club Entrance on the map. It'll be on one of the shelves, being casually bodyblocked by a club worker. Might end up being a more convenient bat to grab depending on your run with Berlin.
There's a second chloroform flask in New York in one of the deposit boxes. Convenient, because you can use the chloroform to gas the security room, and still grab a second one to take home.
On Ambrose Island the researcher will make both Emetic and Lethal poisons for you - though It's been inconsistent for me whether they have rarity.
Also, you can make an explosive block on the workbench in the Pirate base - again, I've had it had rarity and had it without rarity. It's always worth checking however.
You can build that explosive block in the garage after some unlocks. When building it in the safehouse it do not take any space in the inventory.

Im personally started hitman from freelancer mode, and in most of scenarios have to use unlocked exit because have no idea how to unlock any others.

You can get a Hackl Covert in Whittleton Creek. Idk if it's only when it's an alerted territory, but it was a garbage man inside of the house that has the garage door leading to the basement

Miami Security Office safe still has a car bomb remote explosive- it won't go back to your safehouse, but it guarantees you can blow open a safe in Miami without needing to futz around with propane or bringing your own.
Or use a fire extinguisher. There's tons of that map

This is one of the things I missed from the older Hitman games was finding and collecting weapons.

Apparently, there is SOMETHING else that causes the Mendoza - Hackl 9S Covert to appear on that elite guard just inside that basement hallway (as shown). In my case, only ONCE was there a guard in that location, and he was one of the targets that run.
Usually there is a commando leaning against the wall further in next to custodian cart. The leaning one only has an SMG.
He did patrol back to the area with the railing above the pool of water (usually 2 commandos leaning against the railing), so perhaps THAT is who has the pistol. This one time he DID have the pistol.
Been watching your channel for awhile now, and I gotta say, I love your stuff man. It's always clear and concise and easy to follow. Good on you man, and thanks for all you do :)
Lesson learned for me: grab even the common freebies because I finished a contract and was rewarded the crappy mendoza sniper since I didn't have it yet :/

For New York the epic and legendary knives in the lock boxes have been replaces with mercers which i honestly prefer. You shouldn’t be able to get 2 legendary weapons and an epic in the same level
You can get a free silver baller and 30k mercies by going through the window of the shed to the ruins in which there is a chest with these items and a fibre wire
By the time you get to the level needed for the upgrade, 30k is nothing and you'll have a silver baller by then

So far I've lost 2 good, expensive silenced snipers because I climbed a ladder with a briefcase and left it behind. So yeah I could use a free sniper. 47s a pro assassin but can't carry a case up a ladder hah. Great video thanks Freeze!

I came across the machete in the coca fields at Santa Fortuna but it has no rarity, so I dropped it. However the lethal pills from Helen's basement also has no rarity but if you can bring that back, then the machete might work as well.
There's also a regular baseball bat at a house near Martinez's compound at Santa Fortuna. There was one time I needed to bring a sniper and had the pacify with baseball prestige objective. I knew I can use the collector's bat at the mansion in the worst case scenario but I saw there was a regular one in the campaign on hitmaps and it's still there for freelancer.
I have to say, as a total gaming pessimist (and rightfully so), I think Freelancer is amazing.
I have played 60+ hours of it and not really played (the excellent) Dead Space.
I did not see that coming.
for hokkaido you need to have scrambler to start with and head straight to the morgue for agent smith he give you the master rfid chip
Great video. In the very end of your video, you forgot to mention the free poison from the scientist where you got the knife. Emetic and lethal poisons if you find the flower and frogs and then give them to him.

@@nah82201 You have to purchase some of them or win them as mastery rewards. The supplier won't always have all the weapons you need you he will show a random selection each time. Eventually the one you want will show up!

You can take the katana from the museum in Isle of Sgail, too. And in Hokkaido there's another tanto in the ninja starting location.
When you climb out of the window of the shed and walk forward then look right, you'll find a chest with some stuff in it.
After upgrading your shed at mastery Level 76. Not a good tip for a beginner.
I just found another baseball bat. Also on Miami, in the alley behind the hotel, you need a lock-pick or crowbar to enter that alley.
I've also found the Hackl 9S Covert on a bodyguard in the cinema if there is a safe in the cinema.
note you can also get a very easy baseball bat on the beach in Mumbai, near the boat exit! there's certainly a lot of them 🤣
Theres the mud dig place beneath the bridge in Isle of Sgail with a silenced pistol, pick a shovel in the backyard near the watchtower and use It to dig the pistol. Theres also a sabre in the Tower you can pick.

On whittleton creek, if you go to the vacant house for sale, and disable the security to the vault, then go outside and open the garage, ring the doorbell 5 times and the vault will open and you will have a battle axe

There is also another Hackl 9S Covert you can find in Whittleton Creek. It's in the basement of the house right next to Janus'. House with two guards disguised as gardeners on the backyard. There is another guard in the basement which drops Hackl 9S Covert but I'm not sure about the circumstances which brings him there.

Aside from the lethal syringe in Colorado, you forgot that the baseball bat can be found there too. It should be on the second floor of the house by the hackers in the hallway.
I said in the video I wasn't gonna cover every baseball bat as there's so many. It's a common item which I said I wasn't even gonna include but did with a few bats because of the prestige challenge. I didn't forget anything I wanted to include.
whittleton creek: in the secret underground passage between the two houses there is a disguised construction/garbagemen worker. he is carrying hackl 9s covert suppressed pistol.
there was a safe in the room when he was there, so this might be a situation similar to Mendoza where this guard with a suppressed pistol only appears when a safe is in the room. i haven't checked there when there wasn't a safe.
Safe needs to spawn there and it very rarely does

There is two weapons in the "museum" in Paris, one of those you can bring back, but can't remember which one it is. Bring back the one with rarity.
I screw up almost every time because I'm so set in trying to compete every level as SA/SO and some of these options means I can just open fire on guards with the right firearm, bodies don't matter, changing suit doesn't matter. I like the mode though. Just wish they'd change the original mission's scheduled events, since they don't matter at all. Overall pleased with this free update, so much so I'm tempted to buy Seven Deadly Sins now, just to make sure they get paid
Also on Hokkaido map you can spawn on ninja path and get free tanto right nex to you, though i never checked this place when i wasnt having a spawnpoint on ninja path so not sure you can just go up the path and get it for free without having to deal with security in Yuki s apartments
--The Hakl at the beginning is because the map is alerted (yellow icon next to the map) because a preceding mission had failed. You get more enemies in a alerted map-- Edit: nope I was wrong see comments
Incorrect. It's there because there's a safe on the map and he's your target. And another incorrect statement you made, you can get alerted territories from the second, third and forth portions of a campaign regardless if you failed a mission or not. Maybe you haven't got past your first showdown yet. Unlucky.

In Whittleton Creek the lethal Pills on a few of my playthroughs was a version of the lethal pills that doesn't carry over.
Could just be me but I'm fairly certain I haven't seen it carry over.
There is an ICA Silverballer and a Fibrewire behind the Wooden Shed at Home, but you can only access it through the rear window. This is L76 mastery unlock.
So unless your unlucky you should alreay have it by then. You can only loot it once, so consider it a spare in the event you lose those items.
I have no idea why you wouldn't have it by then. Should've been a L30 unlock or less in my opinion
