What's going on guys, in this video I took a look at my Wilson A2000 XLO ball glove which is a vintage glove from the 1970's. This glove has special place in my collection and holds a good memory within it.

you're correct there's very little info available on vintage Wilson, I have a Wilson Japan made A2101 Dave Cash Pro Model, guessing it's 1973-74...
Nice video. I picked up a vintage A2000 XLC from ebay a few years back, slightly pancaked but overall in really nice shape. Date code ties it to 1992. The leather is so nice and it's a real pleasure to use.

I recently scored an early 90's Louisville Slugger 125 Professional Series, made in Japan, on Marketplace for $30. It was virtually unused, with the beginnings of a terrible pancake break in. Relaced it and broke it in correctly. It's fully steerhide with a thin, soft, supple steerhide liner. I've been shopping A2K, A2000, Heart of Hide and Pro Preferred, and this thing gives up nothing to modern top of the line. I honestly can't find anything new that tempts me away from it. I bought it as a backup glove, but it's the only glove I've used since getting it.

My first thought was how did you get a vintage glove in such phenomenal condition.
My grandfather had it stored in a box in his house somewhere. The house had moisture circulating due to the air conditioning always running, so my guess is that it helped keep the glove from dry rotting and kept the leather moist.

I have that exact glove and am looking for a how to video to relace the web. I cut out all the old laces and didn't take pics to refer to. Help please!
Sorry for the late response, I do not know a video off the top of my head you can use to re-lace it yourself but I can direct you to people who can do it for you for an affordable price!
@Aheidemann all good, I took my time and figured it out. In the last 3 weeks I've relaced all 6 of my gloves. 3 Rawlings, 2 Wilsons amd 1 SSK.

Yes he needs to bedazzle it, relace it in pink, and swap out some high quality leather for man made synthetics, then it will be str8 🔥
