There has NEVER before been someone like the GREAT FREDDIE MERCURY....AND THERE NEVER WILL BE.....Brian's guitar playing is TOP NOTCH..QUEEN ROCKS!!!
You Take My Breath Away is a song you will really enjoy.
Freddie, Brian and a 12 string guitar. Queen is perfection💛
FINALLY more Queen!
Is there ever enough, Queen...

What a time...what a time. It appeared as if everyone was doing their own thing separately, yet together- we loved one other for having the bravery to not only speak, but live your TRUTH!
@@peggygallagher5802 yes?
I love Queen, and I think Freddie Mercury is thrilled that his music lives on in your generation ❤️
Usually the whole audience sings this song! But as this performance was recorded for a cinema-concert-movie, the crowd was seated and were officially advised not to clap or to sing along during the show! Freddie hated it!!! As Queen was at the peak of their carrer and played the whole planet, there was a huge request for tickets! So they decided to record a show and put it into cinemas (aka. movie-theatres) to have fans watching it! What a nice idea! :-) That explains the good quality as well! It was recorded in the (back then) unknown HD-format and in Surround -Sound (Dolby 5.1 and thx 7.2). So: Queen was always ahead of their time! :-) Maybe you check outt another live version of this song as well or the studio-version, which ist very very very different! :-) *cheers
Brian said, that the original quality of the film was disappointingly bad. They could get it back in the early 2000s and a special staff of the NASA(!) could reconstruct it into this HQ for any extremly high amount. Unfortunately, some part of the original recordings were destroyed or lost.
@@andreakormosnekacso4804 Right... Brian (I believe) said that when the original production company was editing the film, they threw away all the film pieces that they didn't use!! Can you believe it?!? (Because there were actually two consecutive night concerts, and the film company used the parts they liked best from each night.) GRRRRRRR! :(
Brian May deserves props for the beautiful rendition on his 12 string guitar!
Awwww Love Of My Life!! Freddie’s vocals & Brian’s 12-string is PERFECT.💝💝
The two-night show was filmed in 35mm that’s why the video looks so good! Due to filming the audience mic was turned down! Typically, a Queen audience is a lot more berserk when Queen’s onstage! This song beauty is written by Freddie! 💟
I got to see Queen a few years back. Brian May sang this song. They had Freddie on a screen behind him. The whole crowd sang. Cried. The whole place was lit up by all of our cell phones (kind of like lighters back in the day) it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I've never felt so much love in one room.
Truly enjoying your reactions to Queen. Love seeing today's young people discovering this great band.
I really enjoy this song from Rock in Rio. 250,000 in attendance sing the song to Freddy.
And most of them didnt speak english
This song always makes me cry. Freddie is missed greatly!
Check out The White Queen and Take My Breath Away, both songs from early Queen. Both write by Freddie.
YES... White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon in 1975, and You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park in 1976.
@@marciebulsaraorcutt yes, Hyde Park is good.
Love your reaction. Thank you.
Freddie and Brian this is a masterpeace from Queen. Freddie with his golden woice and Brian May on the guitar so amazing. This is magical. Love Queen my greatings from norway 🎸🇸🇯🌹❤️
Yes Queen is back! 👑
Wembley in 1986 & Rock in Rio 1985 are better versions with the crowd singing 😊
Hey, I’m an Aussie and love Queen, have done for years. Brian May sang this song solo after Freddie had passed. It makes me cry everytime. So many great Queen songs. I’m so glad you now know who AC/DC are now too 😊
Brian still does sing this as a tribute to Freddie, whenever the current-day Queen tours/does concerts. It's sad but a LOVELY tribute... and the way the Larger Than Life virtual Freddie comes out to lead the audience in the last chorus, is always BEAUTIFUL.
That next song was Under Pressure.
I wasn't there, but I did see this tour in Chicago. I saw every show Queen played in Chicago from 1976 until the last one. I dragged my siblings and mom to shows (I was a teenager), and turned my mom into a Queen fan. It's so nice to see younger people enjoying them, so thank you.
Yes there are other versions of this song with a lot of crowd participation and they are amazing. I actually prefer this version to just hear Freddie's beautiful voice
There can never be enough Queen! I wasn’t at this concert but I did get to at least a dozen during my younger years. Freddie and the boys were so talented, their musicianship, their ability to harmonize and always involving the fans. Thanks to CZcams it’s like having a time machine and Queen will be around forever.
It ´s A Hard Life live from Rio 85, love your Queen reactions💕
LOVE ♥️FREDDIE
MERCURY♥️♥️♥️♥️
JUST A SIMPLE LOVE♥️SONG‼️
This will be your new favorite Queen song, until you hear the next one.😊
Enjoy, it's all great
There will NEVER be a band as good as this one. I grew up on Queen, and bands that entertained as Freddie did. I'm so fortunate for that. They don't make 'em like this anymore❤ He was very sick when this happened. He blessed millions of fans with one of his best appearances. When the fans are singing word for word, you know you're witnessing one of the greatest shows in history.
Freddie wrote love of my life for his first and only girlfriend who stayed with him until he died, holding his hand. He left most of his fortune to her, much to the dismay of his partner, Jim Hutton. Freddie left £500,000 to Jim, but Mary was left much more. They were true soulmates.
You should watch this at Wemblu 86 when the audience sing a whole verse. But.I don't know why Freddie said at this time "they don't know it" when you can hear them singing
I think he’s repeating the lyric, “you don’t know what it means to me.” (You don’t know it.)
Hmmm could be..why did Brian say ..thats ok....lol maybe Brian misunderstood like me..lol
Lol Freddie does look at Brian like what did you say that for
I guess we’ll never know. Lol
@@ursabobsage351 Freddie actually WAS saying to Brian "They don't know it". Maybe he/Brian weren't able to hear the audience singing and then the sound was enhanced later on when this film was re-worked/upgraded?
Thanks a lot for your reaction...please enjoy the song "you take my breath away" (live!!!)... It's just Freddie, his voice, his passion, his emotions... This song is to beautiful to stand...
Yes...please react to this beautiful song 'You take My Breath Away".. it's a young Freddie on Piano, at Hyde Park 1976. Thank You for your wonderful reactions, especially love Queen.
If you want to have more of Freddie's passionate singing you have to check out Brian's song Too Much Love Will Kill You. There is no life version of it, because the song was released after Freddie's death only.
So glad ur enjoying!
There are two better versions of this, one in Rio in front of around 250,000 and one at Wembley, the group didn't enjoy the Montreal Concerts that much as security wouldn't let the audience join in very much or move around which didn't go down well with the group
Disagree... sorry
Please can you react to Queen- 'White Queen' (A Night At The Odeon - Hammersmith 1975) thank you.
Super fantastic
I agree. Fantastic album.
So Beautiful 🌹
I like your smile watching this…
Suggest you do a reaction to the full Queen Montreal Live 1981 concert. Just amazing!
You need to see Love Of My Life-- Rock In Rio where the audience sings to Freddie! I think it was almost half a million people in attendance.
That was "Under Pressure" that you heard them start to play at the end.
Woow you must see the hole concert, its one of the greatest
LOVE your Queen/Freddie reaction, Hon!
Cool pfp
You need to check out Freddie's collabs with Montserrat Caballé. She's an incredible opera singer. La Japonaise is one of my faves.
You will love Freddie Mercury living on my own 1993 remix, it was his only solo number 1 single, and was my first record I bought
Thank you Adogg love this song
listen to this song at Wembley...i prefer it. freddie just has to raise his hand and everyone sings please react t SAVE ME, live in Montreal and NOW I'M HERE, Live at Wembley.. and IT'S A HARD LIFE, live in Rio....no one like freddie and queen
Brian's guitar really sings!
I fell in love with Freddy the first time I watched him singing Bohemia R
Another song you might do: Freddie singing "Who Wants to Live Forever" written by Btian May. Especially poignant given that we now know how things with him would end.
My favorite song by them. My 3 yr old grandson and 6 yr old granddaughter love We will rock you.
You need a Freddie Mercury/Queen poster behind you 😊
Queen - "The Great Pretender "
Freddie wrote that song for Mary Austin THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE.... They only woman he loved, trusted, and left everything of his fortune too...
She is the only person who knows where Freddie ashes are.... Not even his parents never knew.... 👑👑👑
One of my fav Queen songs...It is worth listening to the studio recording of this...its pretty amazing
“Tie Your Mother Down” from Live at Wembley 1986.
The way Brian May plays this, is almost like a madrigal. Very 13th century.
Check out Rock in Rio Love of My Life ..over 250,000 in audience! Also, You Take my Breath Away (HydePark 1976). Nice reactions, man. Keep up the good work!
Must watch. Liar. Stone cold crazy. Amazing guitars
Nice reaction! Try White Queen live @ Hammersmith; I Want To Break Free (official video); One Vision live @ Wembley 1986.
Check out las palabras de amour please
this song was written for Mary Austin ex girlfriend and lifelong friend Freddie left everything to her when he passed
You need to check out In My Defence by Freddie. It’s a solo of his. Will blow you away!
Imagine doing Freddie a duett with Floor. The impossible dream 😊
There is a FANTASTIC "virtual duet" on YT w Floor & Freddie singing together.
@@marciebulsaraorcutt thanx. I know that one. It is cool. I like the original After Forever cover, too 😊
☮️💜
There are two great Queen songs you have yet to react to: 1, THE SHOW MUST GO ON...... written by Brian and Freddy; the lyrics will break your heart.....don't miss a word.........this is on their last ALBUM released in 1991, INUENDO (Brian had to finish his last song, Mother Love) Freddy had difficulty standing at this point and died a few months later; it was a very difficult song technically and Brian doubted Freddy could sing it at this point.............there is no doubt in my mind it was THE, if not one fo the top 3 greatest performances of his career.....he was too sick to do the video so they used clips from the past of Freddy being Freddy...........the other is a song they wrote for a Movie........you want to watch the live version in Budapest...........WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER.
Brian, astrophysicist is spectacular on strings...
You have to hear Innuendo, I've Got To Break Free and Hammer To Fall. You absolutely have to.
Love this performance! Just perfect from them both…magic.
More than a few from this show are great. BoRap for instance 👍
You could react to a number of different performances of this song. 😎
Freddie wrote crazy little thing called love about elvis.
Check out Queen in Japan..Also, White Queen Live at Rainbow..Headlong..Seven Seas of Rhy…Queen at Hollywood Bowl…Also, Don’t Stop Me Now..You’ll like these videos..
Great reaction, I subscribe bec of queen, thank you
He wrote this for Mary, the love of his life.
Check out "Play the Game" from this same concert. It is awesome.
Thanks, I like this.
Wrong version. Audiance interaction in Wembley "86 is fenomenal
Hi adogg...have you heard Paulo nutini My last request...beautiful song...hi..from across the pond xx
🥰👍
Great reaction ! Thx Please react to Save Me same concert live in Montreal and Its a Kind of Magic Live at Wembly
I recommend you watch Queen Love of my life live Rio 85
You Take My Breath Away......both the live version and the studio version because they are different enough that you will enjoy both of them.
Check out the official version of "Who Wants to Live Forever". It's a little sad, but very beautiful. Brian May wrote it for the film "Highlander".
Great reaction! Have you checked out "It's a hard life?"
Freddie wrote this for his once fiancee Mary Austin. He left her most of his estate when he died.
The next one is Pressure
Please check out the studio version of this masterpiece, you won't regret it
Can you please do: Too much love will kill you from Queen?
Check out his great love; Mary Austin; one of the greatest love stories I have ever observed!!
Another beautiful, but slightly sad song is "Who Wants to Live Forever"; the official version is best.
He wrote this one to the love of his life, Mary 🎼🎤
It's actually written as though from her perspective. Saddest is the line "When I get older I will be there by your side to remind you how I still love you." Mary just turned 70 I believe. She's older now, but Freddie's long gone. I think, though, once you love Freddie you don't ever stop. Must be awfully hard for her all these years.
@@3ScotsInk Hello my friend! Right? I can’t imagine the loss Mary still deals with. I read somewhere that Mary kept Freddie’s ashes underneath his bed until the time was appropriate for the ashes to be deposited. Freddie’s home is very much how he left it!! Mary avoided going into the Freddie’s bedroom where most of his personal belongings were!! ☹️ 😩😩
@@debramoore7513 Hey! Jeez, really. Don't remember where I heard it, but apparently she confirmed it, that she simply couldn't put them where Freddie wanted them for 3 years. I know that feeling well. My mother & my 2 baby siblings are buried in Memphis. But everyone else (and someday my brother & myself also) were cremated. I kept my aunt's ashes, and the ashes of my 3 Scotties who lived their whole lives with me in my big house on an acre of land in Atlanta. I finally, when I left less than 2 years ago, took my aunt's ashes to the house she lived in since 1956 and so loved. Couldn't go on the grounds because someone else lives there now, but there is a little creek that runs behind it, and I spread her ashes there, and spread my Scotties' ashes on our property where they were puppies, growing up together, and having a great life. But, I mixed a tiny bit of each together and have them with me still. Also, kept my father's ashes since his death in '99 but, on my move north I went a little out of the way to where he was born in Centralia, Illinois. He'd asked that I spread them on his favorite golf course in Memphis, which I did, many years ago, but not all of them. He also loved baseball, from Little League to the World Series, so in Centralia I found a high school with a really nice baseball diamond and dugout, so I spread the rest of them there, in his hometown. Still, it was so hard to do, with all of them. I can't even imagine what that must have been like for Mary, to finally do what Freddie asked, which meant making that final separation from him. She seems very reclusive. I just hope she has someone to really talk with about all of it whenever she needs to. P.S. I still have my sister's ashes. There's nowhere she asked for them to be, but I know she wouldn't have wanted them in Memphis anywhere-- she loved NYC, but where I'd put them there I have no idea. So they're still with me, and my brother knows, if he outlives me, to mix my sister's and mine together and put them somewhere not in but on a body of water, any body of water. I don't care, just want to 'stay' with her wherever we end up. I've always wondered if Mary kept a little bit of Freddie's. I certainly couldn't blame her if she did.
@@3ScotsInk Pssssst - What are the chances that Freddie’s ashes are where he loved to be surrounded by trusted loved ones?? G.L. Mary said she would run errands the same day & time until she felt that the media & paparazzi wouldn’t bother her about where she was gonna put Freddie’s ashes. It would appear to be just another day of errands. 😉
@@debramoore7513 I've thought of that. Wherever she went with them, it doesn't seem to have been far, much less requiring a plane ticket, like to Zanzibar (oh, hell no!-- Freddie didn't even talk about Zanzibar!) or even Geneva (3 hour round trip from London). In a way, Garden Lodge was the 'love of his life'-- close to Mary's house while he was alive, then he gives it to her after his death, and close to his parents' place. I do think his ashes are in London somewhere, most likely on the grounds of (or inside) Garden Lodge. And by giving the house to her upon his death, they could have worked out a stipulation that upon her death it would stay in the 'family'-- never sold to developers, etc. I mean, he was Freddie Mercury. He could have done just about anything to ensure GL remained standing essentially in perpetuity, and in the hands of people who either could be 100% trusted to hold onto it after Mary's death, or who could only inherit it themselves per contract (via Mary's will and on and on) if they, too, would keep it, keep it up, and keep people out. And that may well be why GL is now, with its tasteful but essentially razor wire keeping people off the property, and God only knows what kind of security protects the home itself and the person/people living in it. Freddie was brilliant-- he'd have thought of everything. It does, now, look like a fortress. Yep, I think we're right my friend. Which makes the falling of the tree so soon after Hap arrived there make more sense. Nothing against Hap personally, just Freddie's way of saying, nope, this place is now a shrine and, like the Mineshaft he loved so much, members only! Very interesting, Debbie.
That is a 12 string guitar
Check out Who wants to live forever. It will change you.
Mary the love of his life……
He did NOT dedicate this song to that woman!! Freddie never said that!!!!!!
You pronounced Montreal wrong!
