I felt so bad for Izzy in this episode. At least she's got Mika, but she must feel so pushed out of Donte's new family. I hope she returns next series

Donte is literally Tom Clarkson mk2 in the making, im telling you now!!
Putting other people's kids/families before his own (just like how Tom neglected his son Josh but dropped everything for like the Kellys and of course Chlo and Mika who he took on after Izzie died)
Tom thought nothing of Josh he just put him down and grounded him every time he put a foot wrong, couldn't accept his sexuality, couldn't handle his behaviour (even tho Josh was led astray mainly by Finn no respect for no one Sharkey!!)
But when it came to the Kellys Tom was there in a flash which he demonstrated when Sambuca was diagnosed with brain cancer and was right by her side when she died, with Josh on the other hand Tom just liked to be in control of him, treated him like hes just something his had to deal with (not to mention teach English) Josh needed nurturing and loving but he most definitely didn't get that off his dad!!
Donte is heading the same way as Tom, he clearly doesn't think much of Izzy or Tommy and is putting Nicky's kids and their needs before that of his own, also, in reference to Tom, he has clearly forgotten about Chlo now hes with Nicky (just like Tom forgot about Izzie after ahe died once he was with Davina saggy voice Shackleton, who buggered off cos Tom was helping Rose Kelly and her kids so much!!
See there are a lot of similarities and little comparison between these 2 characters!!
Also in reference to Tom and Josh, Neil is probably gonna be the same way with Libby (even though she is pure trouble and will do anything to get what she wants and manipulate her way out of trouble!!)
Neil will definitely have a job keeping Libby on the straight and narrow in future episodes!
So yeah that's my piece said hope someone can make sense of it!!

and i loved the relationship of tom and sambucca and denzil
I really don’t think Nicky loves him how can donte just move on like that x and keeping it from Izzy is just so selfish x no wonder she’s gone away with Mika
grief works in different ways and to be honest if we passed we would want our partner and children to have chance at a family and yh tbh he could have been up front but he was with chlo for years and is hard for him to move on and doesnt want to be judged for moving on which happens and kids see their parent being replaced

Well said, but it's also worth pointing out that Josh's mum stole Tom's sperm, and Tom was only made aware of Josh's existence in Series 5; by the way I'm not trying to excuse Tom fooling around, as well as placing other people's kids above his own.

Mika was one of my favourite characters growing up, so it was lovely to see her return. Hope she comes back! Shame her and Brett are not still together as I remember them being together.

Has Mika forgotten her sister cheated on Donte with her bf. If Donte were the one to have died, she be in bed with someone else 5 minutes later. She wasn't loyal but expects Donte to be alone forever
But the point is that it affects Izzy. Donte's priority should be the kids
Right did you not watch the video? She's there for Izzy and even if it had been Donte that died that still would've affected Izzy to see her mum move on with another bloke so things would've been exactly the same either way.

I think Izzy’s emotions were valid but I don’t think Donte was doing anything wrong it’s common for widows and widowers to remarry and start dating again

Mika was definitely in the wrong in that one they have all been through a lot and donte is dating a kind women and im sure that chlo will be happy with that so yeah Izzie just needs to get through with it beacause she likes Nicky it’s just that she’s not chlo but im sure she’ll get over it so yeah
