This song came on the radio one morning when I was contemplating returning to using heroin after God had healed me of my opiate addiction. I prayed for help and immediately this song popped up on the radio. It melted my heart and I didn't go out and use. Its been 5 years since then and I still haven't picked up another habit! Praise Yahweh!

I share your burden. I am an adult survivor of childhood sex abuse. 5 years at the hands of a sick deluded family member. Ill soon be 60 yrs old&memories still hold me down of all the ppl I told as a child who either said I was lying, told me i would get in trouble for telling, or i was crazy. Churches that told me i could be saved, but didnt remove me from that sick home i was living in. Finally as an adult I seek&serve God without caring what other ppl believe about me. I have to ask God every day to break the chains of depression, low self worth, fear &anxiety. That He in His power will protect me from being revictimized by thoughtless, humiliating remarks&unwanted ungrounded advice. I stay in the words of psalms&Isaiah. Beauty for ashes. He collects my tears in His wine flask. The flood wont overtake me, the fires wont burn me, He calls me by name&I am His child.

Let me share my testimony with you-I grew up in the church and for 17 years I rebelled against God I reject him and didn’t even realize I was rejecting him I began watching pornography and masturbating was extremely addicted, I would smoke at school sometimes even drink , I had a lying problem and would steal things, had a lot of self hatred and become very loose and promiscuous, to be honest I dressed for the attention of boys because I told myself if I could get a boyfriend than I’m beautiful my self esteem was non existent and I was so prideful, I could be struggle in school but my pride wouldn’t allow me to ask for help it was honestly bad but than I eventually made the decision in 2021 to receive Jesus as my Lord and savior when I received him for myself I began to experience his love and the joys of being in him, my life didn’t change over night remember it’s a process and journey but he began working on me and changing me for the better I’m 20 now happy and honestly grateful for the journey I’m walking on with Christ. I’m not a perfect person and there’s still a lot of work that needs to be done but I’m grateful Christ never rejected me and gave up on me when I reject him

Wash me with your blood, cleanse and purify me ( we ask to be wash with the blood of Christ because his blood is spotless and the reason why it’s spotless is because he never sinned ) make me whole forgive me for the sins of my forefathers and cleanse me of iniquity in the bloodline (Leviticus 26:40-41 explains why we ask for forgiveness of the sins of our forefathers and we asked to be cleansed of iniquity because it is a spiritual substance that causes people to sin-iniquity is inherited and cannot be avoided only way to be free of iniquity is if you ask to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus daily )
Fill me with your Holy Spirit Lord ( the Holy Spirit is the comforter, he speaks to you and guides , basically let’s you know right from wrong etc. P.S. God will forgive all your sins it doesn’t matter what you do, it’s just blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that he will not forgive )

WHAT TO DO AFTER RECEIVING CHRIST
1. Cut ties with anything ( movies, clothes, books, provocative language etc ) and anyone ( anyone that pushes you into certain habits etc ) who will push you away from Christ
2. Buy a Bible if you don’t have one and if you do start reading the Bible with a notebook and set aside time in your day where you dedicate it towards prayer
3. Join a church-fellowship with believers is important because they help you grow spiritually and you surrounded by people who believe in the same faith ( always pray to ask God what church you should go to)
4. Make peace with every person you’ve wronged (whether they know it or not ) and forgive those who’ve wronged you
A lot of people don’t hear God during their prayer time or experience God because they still bitter or because they have not made peace with all the people they’ve wronged
God wants to have a relationship with you and see you prosper but sin blocks him from working in your life
5. Always start prayer off with repentance-we repent daily because everyday we sin with our minds ( bad thoughts etc ) bodies ( physically going and committing a sin ) heart ( keeping bitterness etc ) so it’s very important to always repent
The Bible says God does not hear the prayer of a sinner

The Lord has saved me. Christian songwriters have saved me. Love has saved me. -p.p.s, *i need you all to pray for my hometown in canada as there has been some violence and **_possibly_** murders happening, and for The Lord to ease my mind.* i saw a trace of fresh blood yesterday inside an elevator at a skytrain station. there were drips of that blood _almost_ covering the entire elevator floor. a little bit of the blood also got smeared onto *at least* one of the elevator walls. thankfully, *i was not the only one whom saw that.* my mom and our student from switzerland were there too. *we were all shocked and scared at the time.* i got emotionally affected by it the most because it was the first time in my life, seeing something like this. i trembled in fear for the rest of the day. *not too much later that same day, i started to pray inside of my head while we were going somewhere about what we saw.* personally, i have a habit of praying in my head *at the most necessary times because i can be fragile in those moments. then, we all got home and i cried thinking about it too much. i tried to stop that memory of the blood in the elevator playing in my head, but it just won't stop. i felt so sorry for the victim, for whoever's blood that was.* eventually, _i took up all the courage i needed just to call the police about the whole "blood in the elevator" situation._ i explained everything and told them all they needed to know. i _knew_ i should've called the police right away, but i felt paralyzed. i was *that* scared. i of course apologized for not calling them immediately. *they said to me that it's okay because i told them i was home, safe and sound.* they also said that they would send some policemen to check out the place in which the blood-stained elevator was. i knew and still know this one specific place like the back of my hand. my memory, for some reason, was a little bit messy when i tried to tell them which elevator that trace of blood was in. reason being, i seem to get really anxious when i call them. they told me i was doing the right thing and my mom told me that too. i drank as many cups of chamomile tea to calm down, and that was it.

Praise the Lord! I am 37yrs old, had the Holy Spirit for 15yrs, and was. drug addict for 24 yrs. I was homeless, living in iniquity, and surrounded on all sides by servants of the enemy. But the Lord promised me a long time ago that he would deliver me from the drugs and now he has. I've been sober 10 months now and go to serve others who are going through what I went through. What the enemy meant for evil, God will use for good.
I lost my wife back in January.. felt like God was talking to me through this song.. haven’t been able to stop listening to this song..
This song was played at my sisters funeral. It hasn't even been 2 months. It hurts so bad. I miss you so so much Bekah, but I know you're with the lord now, and you're in a much better place. That will also be difficult, but as long as I have God and my family by my side, I know we can get through it together. :)

In November of 2019 , I was flown to a hospital 2 hours away from my home , away from my family and away from my church brothers and sisters . I was experiencing the gear to attack that nearly killed me .
This song was on my lips and in my thoughts all the way to the operating room . That night at 9 pm God heard my SOS.
I have recovered thanks to the Almighty God and my faith in Jesus Christ. My friends God is good , God is true God is great .

I couldn't believe after watching 20/20...this song came on the radio for Britanee's mom. The lyrics couldn't be more profound. There are markers in our lives that give us strengths beyond imagination. This was a marker for her mother. So appropriate so intentionally suited for her discovery and closure. How beautiful this song is and will live in the lives of those who loved that beautiful young life. Taken far too young with such promise. I'm so sorry for their loss. No one could imagine the grief. This song led to a conclusion. RIP young lady. ..just know how much you meant to those lives you touched in your brief time upon the Earth.

I've been dealing with severe depression for four years now. I was put in the hospital in 2017 for suicide risk because I was self harming. I was suffering in middle school with bullies, anxiety, low self-esteem and body image issues. I was lost and afraid that I had disappointed God so I hid from him. But He rescued me. This year I'm doing better than I ever was. It's not too late for you and God will always be there for you.

I've been emotionally, psychologically and financially abused for the past 6 years and it couldn't have been worse until last night, i was about to experience physical abuse, as well as my children. He hit our son, i was stunned and i got mad so i hit him with my child's shirt that i was holding . That's when he turned to me and he was supposed to hit me. He did not continue but i know right there and then, he will soon hit me. I cried my heart out to the Lord. The person who is supposed to make us safe is the same person who hurt me/us over and over again and that fact that he is not sorry at all, i cannot fathom. But I know God will give me and my children the strength to move forward.

If you do not mind me sharing; the Sabbath was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Infact, sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV) will keep the 10 Commandments in the new heavens and the new earth including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per:
Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV).
Heb 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV); The word 'rest' is translated from the ancient or traditional Greek Manuscript word 'σαββατισμός'
(Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for GOD'S people.
I am not going to force you to keep Shabbat holy (i would encourage to do a study on this matter) but if you end up coming short in the end, remember that the LORD did reach out to you using me.
