- What a blast! Camping out overnight while fishing is a fun way to maximize your time out on the ice. It can be a lot of work, but with the right gear and preparation, it can be an easy and comfortable process. Here's my first evening camping out this winter in my Eskimo Outbreak 450.

My brother and I rented a sleeper shack on the Mississippi River in WI last year. And we had SCHOOLS under our shack all night, and no bites at all. I'm so happy it worked out for you though! That's AWESOME!
The joys and sorrows of technology right there! It’s always a fun adventure nonetheless!! Best of luck this year!
@@tjsguideservice joy: seein em all there knowing we were on the spot. Sorrow: no bites at all
I did a stay over first time this year and it was fun. Plus no need to leave early to get fishing. Got 12-16" crappies at night.
Wow those are studs!! Nice work! Such a fun time
Used to fish Big Mantrap and Lake Belltaine on fishing trips from Illinois. Do you ever fish either of those lakes?
I have fished both those lakes! Unfortunately, not as much as I would like, but they are both fun lakes!
Some pretty steady action well done! Can't beat catch n cook
You bet! Doesn’t get more fresh than that!
@@tjsguideservice Practically still swimming🤣
@@weaversbentrods 😂😂
Nicely done! Awesome video! Looks like a fun night out on the ice!
Hey thanks man! Was a blast for sure!!
Great content like always! I still have get away from the Pelican Rapids area and explore those lakes north of Park Rapids!
Thanks, Chad! There’s so many good lakes around! Just need more time to fish them all!
Great video ..this is Goose👊💯🎣🎣😋😋
Goose!! Thanks, buddy! This was the day we saw each other!
Nice job on video and it's a lot of fun spending the night on ice . 🇺🇸🇺🇸🎣🎣👍👍
Thank you! Yes it is! Do you do it often?
@TJ's Guide Service Did some last year ,gonna try to make time for this year. 👍
@@johnwyman5939 you bet! Definitely a ton of fun! I would like to do more.
I have watched your videos a lot, these type of videos are my favorite. What mm of tungsten jig are you using?
Thanks, Calvin! Glad you enjoyed! The bigger one I used was 7mm I believe and the smaller one was either 5 or 6mm
Sounds good. Thanks!
what rods are you using? snare rode?
I believe this was the JT panfish snare!
What kind of locator is that ?
This is the Garmin Livescope LVS34
what kind of floor are you using?
It’s actually a nice hardwood floor! Stained and varnished 😂
@@tjsguideservice do you think that will work with my diesel heater?
@@mikeward-rt3hd I think hardwood floors were actually made for diesel heaters. It’s science
