The spending energy double dip for the weaving patterns event isn't that great normally, but if you are short on the 1000 hero soul stones for Summer Fest then those soul atrium crystals are more appealing.
Charlie, it's actually triple-dipping! Emerald Waterfalls ALSO rewards you for spending emeralds. I actually spent more on this event than any other recent event for this reason, and I do not (yet) regret my choice!
Thanks Charlie for the heads up! Amira's MP is 48K at max. Your heroes would need to have MD at 39K (48/1.24) at minimum in order for the maxed MD pattern to be useful against Amira.

Cornelius could be good to counter amira
I would argue Amira has very high magic penetration. 48k is huge, when most heroes are only carrying 25k-35k mag. def., including Amira herself. 48k is enough to punch through most tanks magic defense outside of Corvus and Cleaver, let alone other characters.

I am facing a horrible situation. Someone has stolen my account. It had 2 years of hardwork. Story: As I am not active everyday, I wanted someone to manage my account a couple days every week. They agreed and it went on. Today I tried logging in and saw that my password was incorrecct. In conclusion my account has been taken away. I wish I could send a recovery mail, but the mail I use is not connected to any of my devices. I don't know what to do. That was 2 years of hardwork please help!
