The amount of discipline that goes into both strongman and bodybuilding training is nothing to be scoffed at. Can’t skip the hard work in either case. Much respect.
Holy shit heavy pec work!!! Is he insane!!! He is no way near ready for that yet. Maybe next year. But not now!!! I thought Haftor was taking his rehabilitation slow and steady. But this is just insane. He is gonna tear his pec again before the end of the year.
Okay, after reading a few comments, my heart stopped racing. obviously this is an older video that just had a delayed release. Phuh! Silly me, of cause he wouldn't be that stupid to attempt something like that. And if he did, he would seriously injure himself long before he reached a 100kg.
😊😊😊Mr. Bjornsson thank you for all the great videos. In response to the room next door maybe you should build a recover room with massage chairs , vending machines and a arcade to relax the mind and body.
Nice video Frost giant, you are looking in great shape , I was tensing my jelly belly through the poses ,I got along way to get beach body ready thanks Viking.
Frost Giant was around 176-178 kg during this session and he looks absolutely phenomenal isn't he? Have to be patient and embrace the recovery journey, and I'm sure by the time he recovers, you will achieve your target physique, 100%. I'm also having the smallest waist I had since I left school 13 years ago, and so badly wants to increase both strength and lean muscle mass. Let's do this brother! 💪🏻
Hafthor, are you considering a goal shift? Training for bodybuilding, for your physique, would still give you a goal to work toward. The risk of injury is far less, as you can build muscle using moderate weight with higher volume. It might be relatively safer for health too as you wouldn't need to get as heavy as for powerlifting. Jón Páll would approve, he did it too. Look up Dr. Mike Israetel, a competitive powerlifter who made the switch to bodybuilding and the changes to his training, which both were safer and built even more muscle. He's become an expert, or THE expert, in the field. I'm sure he'd love to come out to Iceland to do seminars too. If you ever do bring him out there make him eat rams nuts.
Hafthor at the end of heavy long hours of training muscles can lock up. Even hydrating your best when you use it all up that's what happens and I'm so use to it, you're body is conditioned to burn and fire it to the max I'm sure that's why you have the ability to really fire it up and you know you can take it very far.
whaaaaaatttt i had to read comments to see if i was seeing the same as everyone else... already lifting huuuggggeeee weights, what???? it was like 4kg last time
@@R3dCol0r Happens all the time. Shit people wouldn't say irl to others because without risking a mouth full of broken "teef". It ought be a basic rule, to use the kind of diplomacy in any setting they would use in person.
Thor! Go back to strongman and compete in the shaw classic! No need to be as big and unhealthy as you used to those days are over for strongman the new athletes are in good health. Make a comeback just for fun. Or at least collaborate with Mitch and Brian.

Hafthor is in the topic of *Adonis golden ratio* even being a Strongman and Powerlifter, let alone being leaner at the moment!
He is looking in great shape, my Viking brother, motivation for us poor mortals.
you mean Vitruvian golden ratio
It's crazy that Ryan mentioned that Pec Tears are common with maxing on flat bench.
Pre peck- tear 😢 - obviously many of the commenters haven't been paying attention.
Don't worry King, you will heal, and then you will be back for us STRONGER THAN EVER !!!
We love you Hafthor. You are such an inspiration. Thank you for all you do. The world is a better place with you in it.
Holy shit! Incredible how much your pec has healed already! WOW! So happy for you!
Had no idea posing was so straining but it makes sense. Both look amazing btw, lats for DAYS.
I find it insane that you're already benching over 5 plates again. Couldn't really believe my eyes when I saw it 😂 Keep it up Hafthor! ❤
This video was pre injury.
im so glad your back doing Strongman
It’s good to finally see you lifting heavy again great job buddy 👏 👍
I think it would be so funny if harfthor started to compete in bodybuilding and the beat Eddie in that aswell

Right? ?? This better be old, like WTF... That's almost 500 lbs, five weeks later. . Would not be right at all.. Cheers
Next Hafthor vs Eddie should be a bodybuilding competition.

Sweet! You're going to participate in bodybuilding as well? Lol, I'd love to see you and Eddie go head to head on that!
That would be no competition at all. Thor would win by a lightyear.
@@palmarolavlklingholm9684what a joke
@@ananttyagi8463 No, seriously, Thor would be a way better bodybuilder. He has the physique to become one if he wanted to. Eddie has not.

Pe-pec tear Thor was crazy in terms of strengh and physique
What supplements and where can we buy your creatine n sniffing salt and more???
tengo una pregunta ese entreno es después de la lescion?
This is well before the pec injury right?
I always love watching you eat while eating along; more eating videos please.
A new full day of eating content is already filmed and I will post it in few days 😀🙏

This’s an old vid right? Isn’t he post-surgery injured ?
Yes this is a old video 😀
