Great video and insights, appreciate your efforts to help others grow! I'll be using this tutorial to help flip some samples handed to me for a relaxing game project. Keep pushing n postin!
🎉NEW SUBSCRIBER BRO!!!🎉 excellent video bro, where did you get that sample and what’s the name of the track? I hope you make more lofi hip hop beat making tutorials from scratch, hopefully longer videos. Great tune!🙏🏻🎚️🙌
I think I gotta start using FL Studio now just so I can be free from MPC Beats (even though I'm used to MPC Beats already lol) XD Thx for the tutorial though, I'll keep this in mind when I actually start to use FL Studio :>
@@macjbeats I wanna get an SP 404 or a Maschine to upgrade my Akai MPK Mini 3, but I mean when those things cost actual money and shit, and all I have is a MIDI keyboard to sample shit….I guess I have no choice XD But yeah using my keyboard (or directly using MPC Beats) is alright, I just have to learn FL Studio Lol
@@SempaiLovesAnimeandRiceballs Hahah I get that:) FL Studio is super convenient for making beats. If you'd have any problems with FL once you get into that, you can dm me:) I'll be happy to help!
It's fruity balance automation clip. I sidechain by automating the volume of 1) bass (so the kick and bass don't clash) and 2) my sample for the extra groove and vibe. The shape of this automation depends on your tracks vibes, but my shape looks pretty much like a 'valley' (at the beginning the volume drops to 0% very quickly and then it moves up - this technically prevents from some unwanted clicks that could happen if your sidechain starts at 0% instead of this quick drop to 0% from 80% [in fruity balance 0 dB is 80%, not 100%]). Hope it helped! :)
your beats sound dope! keep it up!
thank you so much! I appreciate it!

how can i know if the song is public domain or not? nice work!
There's an usage information on the track:) 'Universal' tagged tracks with the CC in circle means its public domain:)
@@macjbeats thx!
@@macjbeatsWhere is it usually? Having a hard time finding it.
@@Mnm58 public domain tracks? well there isn't many. Anything before 1920s-1930s i believe is in public domain.
wich drum kits u usually use ?
u can find some cool drums on splice, or you can even find some cooler free lofi drum kits on reddit - there's a lot of kits on reddit
what do u add for the kick sidechain?
ive been trying to figure it out
