You have to chisel the bow out of wood then put dry grass on it for the rope.
And then make the arrows (cut a stick to make an arrow body, mine and smelt to make arrow heads and cut feathers to make the back)

Most definitely, this game has QUITE a bit to learn even at the stage it's at :)
Early in the video you said the feather doesn't matter. It does if you are becoming an archer though; red feathers make arrows fly better than blue ones.
I was insinuating it doesn't really matter while just leveling as you really can just use bs arrows to train with..
Explain upgrading the server and what the priority upgrades are
I would say getting bridges/stairs and all crafting spots functional would be the best thing to get done first :)
If you are make starter tools go to the dust bowl and find buckets/cauldrons then decraft them into buckles and plates then throw them in the desmelter to get iron and combine your iron and copper by throwing both bars into the forge without a mold in and you get red iron yay
Yeah but you'd have to have the smelter operational first to harvest the deconstructed iron so first you have to get iron ore to build smelter lol.

You made an axe by attaching the blade to a handle without a directional attachment piece. I tried the same thing and ended up with a shovel LOL. Did I use the wrong handle? I made what looks like a medium sized one that looks like the same recipe you used. Not sure what went wrong. And thanks for the vids, very helpful!
Lol! I've been there before. Double check which handle you've made and it should give the option to attach on the side :)

Can you show how to make handles that go on high grade weapons such as a Valyran great sword?
The tier of weapon wouldn't really make much of a difference for a handle. Metal handles will be the best until Redwood is available later on.

Since you're only allowed 8 players on a server at a time (quest 2) I've had to switch between a couple different servers, do you keep your items between servers?
No you do not but you do keep cosmetics.

Cosmetic shop rotations will have different things.
I have one issue in this game: the game can’t properly save progress so I wish you can manually save your game. I had a bunch of proper tools like a axe, hammer, and pick axe, and now I have to start from scratch. With a manual save all of your progress, tools, resources, will all be saved. There is also a blacklist system which means that players cannot rob you or steal otherwise that player(s) will be kicked out of the server. Hopefully this should stop the thieves in this game who are too lazy to get her their own materials and resources. The only times you can trade are with friends or anyone as this feature can be disabled at anytime and anywhere. Also the vault system also sucks because I had one person who had 65 crystals and when he logged back in someone robbed him. The vault needs to be fixed so you cannot take a person stuff if they logged in their accounts. Honestly I hate thieves and robbery in this game and I wish new features were added
They might end up implementing some sort of measures later on, but make sure to report thieves to the server owners and such and file a report with Alta to get items back. Also, since the servers are in a live state I am not sure how that would affect attempts to save an instance but those are good point outs :)

There are things to fight in this game and there will be much more added as well. I am just covering beginner tips at this time.

It's a combat skill called "air slash" :)
You need 3 combat levels to go from the first skill to air slash
Ok I'm been a sandbox mom guy for 20 years but couple questions. What about this jump quest? And how. Many of these worms and dodo birds do we have to kill til we. Level up
Jump quest? Hmm.
You level up your skill tree by hitting things of any kind like trees, ores, animals, monsters, smithing, chiseling and maybe other game players.

The unfortunate thing is the subscription for 10 dollars a month just to have your own private server. Honestly, I wish it was flipped. Have private be the go-to thing and make public servers with PvP or something similar be the Pay-to-play option. Or better yet, have both options open and give the game a flat one-time play.
Games that force you to pay to play by yourself is a major red flag to me.
That's mainly the PC version but quick tip: once you pay for one month, you can cancel and forever keep your server so it doesn't require you to stay signed up. Plenty of people don't know that. I wanted to see more public server options left open later on but it seems they would really like to see privates for the most part. I'm not sure that's entirely realistic at this stage, or even if the game grew more but we'll see what direction they go with all of it.
how do i put a lantern on my pick axe? It is a metal pick axe handle so idk if that makes a difference
Yeah it makes the difference, you can't do it to those and only on certain wooden ones.
You can put dried grass on the arrow and then light it on fire but i actually dont know if it does shit 💀

Good question. I often reference the wiki in my videos for these reasons but these ‘spoilers’ are usually things I didn’t end up finding out or being told for quite some time, things that if I’d known - would have saved me so much valuable time especially with medial tasks. My aim is to bring help to everyone, including those who may work long hours and just want to enjoy the gameplay so they’ll watch these during their lunch breaks then get home and have a good time getting straight to the point. Hope that helps! If someone wants to rough it the hard way though then they can just as easily avoid watching and most likely already do. I assume most who watch these genuinely want the info, at least I hope so!

Right when you walk inside of the black smith in the side, there are two stations that look like vice-grips of some type. You place whatever tool/weapon that has a handle within those grips and use a hammer/chisel to remove it.

Using the handles to attach large daggers are the best way to go because the kunai handles allow for stacking.
