For fresh stuff like milk it’s pretty obvious if it’s still good or not using your nose and eyes and for dried or processed stuff the dates on it are so long they’ll have eaten it by then

After looking at Clean Tok, I’ve cleaned a lot more now as I feel that it’s very satisfying and that it’s not seen as a chore anymore

Me encantan estos vídeos, pero después pienso en todos los residuos y basura que se genera de tantos empaques. Ojalá todo vaya al reciclaje. Sería maravilloso poder ir al super con nuestros botes, frascos y cajitas, y que nos los rellenaran para ya no generar tanta basura y tener todo nuestro stock lleno y bonito 😊

De alguna manera esos residuos son los mismos que nosostros generamos, solo que estás personas aceleran su ida a la basura, me refiero a que nosostros también usamos estos productos y cuando ya no contienen nada van a la basura, ellos solo apresuran ese proceso, pero tú idea refill sobre los productos de limpieza, comida y demás, está cool, de hecho nunca la había pensado :).

I know this comment is older, but yes, people don't read the instructions that come with laundry detergent, etc. People have preconceived ideas about how much smell or lather actually equates to clean when that has nothing to do with cleaning germs or dirt. And you can even show them the science behind it and they won't care. It's a big problem.

My family does this. We have extra dry food stored elsewhere but to keep the house stocked and pretty we only use what can fit in the containers and the rest is stored in another pantry. When we run out all we do is clean the container and refill it again completely.
It’s easier if the item is bought in bulk because that way we only buy what we need when we need it. The packages that are opened and left usually don’t get used up when in the fridge and it causes the food to go bad, that’s why storing them properly makes my family see everything as “fresh” and they do more cooking.

guys don't take your leafy greens out of the bag. that bag is filled with nitrogen instead of air, which keeps things way fresher than a plastic container with some paper towel. once the bag is open and the nitro is gone it's probably good to decant it, but until then let oxygen free bag do the work for you
