- After three weeks in Colombia, we headed off to Curacao! We wanted to celebrate our holidays on a tropical island, drink some Piña Coladas and swim in the turquoise Caribbean waters. Curacao has it all! This is our first time in the Caribbean and it did not disappoint. We walked through Willemstad, the capital of Curacao and then explored a beautiful beach on the island, Cas Abao. These first two days on Curacao were bliss and just what we needed. Curacao is amazing! Aruba is definitely on our list of countries to visit but we're heading to East for our next adventure.

Thanks for sharing your adventures, from Hawaii to Curacao, I am doing "virtual traveling" along with you guys from my apart! How is safety in Curacao in general? Just wondering how Covid infections rate looks like there? Aruba just got upped to level 4 by CDC but it seems like Curacao is still at 3 as of today.
Glad you enjoy our videos! We think our stay in Curacao was pretty safe. We were mostly outdoors anyways (exploring all the beaches!), but we did hear that the infections are continuously rising on Curacao now as well. I also believe they changed their entry requirements a bit. But we had a great time and felt safe :)

Love this! I’m going to Curaçao in March. Did you have to take a Covid test on the 3rd day you were in Curaçao? Was that an easy process?
Yes! It was a very easy process. You pay and reserve for the test beforehand
What were the hair products you got? What was in the room outside?
I haven't hear of travel insurance for Covid. Was that at the airport you were leaving from or when you landed in Curacao? How much whas the insurance, what does it cover and is it mandatory? We are going the at the end of April and looking forward to the beautiful beaches.
We never saw anything about travel insurance either. They told us it was mandatory at the Bogota airport before arriving in Curacao. It costs us about $30 each for the coverage. Best wishes for your trip!

Yes, we think that is doable. The flight to Curacao from Colombia is pretty short. I believe we used google to find clinics on Curacao for our test, but also the curaçao tourism website should list them. Hope this is helpful!

Definitely! It's a great place. You need a car or scooter though to explore the island.
COVID insurance??? Is covid not treated like any other sickness in regards to insurance?? Just booked a trip here for July.
Yeah, they have specific covid insurances now. Maybe your medical insurance will cover it though.
You guys should try big corn island and little corn island. Located in the carabean part of Nicaragua little corn island is tiny they dont have cars or motorcycles only bikes allowed it looks virgin almost very nice video by the way.i never knew their houses looked similar like the ones in Holland. Also theres a city in Nicaragua called Granada the second lake in Latin America is part of Granada runs thru the lake or the lake pass thru Granada since we were Concord by spain the city has colonial style houses build from middle 1700's thru 1880 ORIGINAL houses built by Spaniards architects house have very bright colors second colonial houses are in leon another colonial city.beach areas are everywhere but in my opinion south west . San Juan del sur is a party town alot of people from everywhere canadians American Europe
