  • A mish mash of black, red and blue runs at Dirt Farm Wales. A little sticky due to all the rain, so it wasn't quite as fast as usual, but still one of my favourite places to ride!

I don’t think I’ve ever managed to complete the same route twice down there! Fifth time riding the Farm and I’m still finding new bits

I need to get here. It's just down the road and I've never been.

Wait for the new trails to open and you’ll have a stonker of a day!

Do you just run lower air pressure in your tires most of the year?

I tend to go for 23psi in the front with 26psi in the rear unless it’s super steep and sloppy (or icy/snowy) when I’ll go down to 19psi in the front and 23psi at the rear.

@@marcanthonyreal cheers. Was just curious because you guys are always, ALWAYS riding in wet slop. Or so it seems. I’m in the same situation. I live in western North Carolina. And it’s the same conditions 6 months out of the year. Wet, snowy and slick.

@@marcanthonyreal inserts? I personally don’t. All it took was one flat that was too big for a puncture kit. 2 broken tire levers and a 3 mile hike to the car. And those fu@king things came out of all my bikes. Except my dh/ park bike. And only in the rear

No inserts for me as I’m only around 65Kg, but Wales is generally wet all year with the odd dry day thrown in. Most bike parks here run really well in those conditions, but the natural stuff holds a lot more water, especially when we’re riding on old coal slag in the Rhondda valley.
