PBD is not a motivational guru, he is a super sharp businessman who gives valuable, actionable insight through Valuetainment. I love watching his content.

Hi Dr Leaf. I've started your book, Switch on your brain. And this interview switched on my brain too. Patrick is such a rational guy, which I think stems from a very strong value system. Not just self value, which from what I understand is a skill that you build but he has a strong moral compass/system. And he doesn't compromise. That comes from knowing who you are but can be detrimental when needed, to have a change of heart. This was very empowering for me. You speak my mother tongue, so I feel like I'm listening to my aunt. Haha. Your questions are very deliberate and I like how you know exactly what information or character quality you want to pull out, which in the end has all been very empowering and motivating. Thank you. I'm at a time where I need to redeem lost time and self. I know I'll be a lost potentialist because I was too afraid. You see, that confidence is always in there, it's just been silenced by our environments we've allowed and toxic self talk to justify our decisions. I'll keep reading and practicing your books and your podcasts are also going to be a great source. Thank you

    Brilliant conversation
    Thank you
    Will listen again
    And again
Sad I am late in life and not known since of this from youth
    Parents need this
I wish as a parent I understood such things
    I messed up bad
    But
It lacked the most important part
    Our spirit
All spoken about was time here human relationships with ourself and others
    But what of eternity
What is it if we gain the whole world and loose our soul
It's easy to oooh and ahhh and get great initiative passion drive ideas hope from people like yourselves ... who have had a rough journey but now seemingly have it all ...
Yet I tell you that seemingly insignificant person whose life is all about Jesus Christ their treasures will not burn like straw at judgment day but will be pure like refined gold and have eternal value and significance.
ONLY that done for God by God with God because of God will last.

Wow, I wonder what his wife and children , parents, siblings think of how he spends his time. He is so invested in his climbing the ladder and his success, that he seems to ignore the community of people that made him successful. Good for him, but there isn’t any reason I can see why Christians would want to emulate him in any realm. Yeah, he’s successful, but he seems very self centered and egotistical.

    • @wilmalay32
      @wilmalay32 Před 3 lety +2

I watched and listened intently and he's got a lot of wisdom and insight.
I think the way he speaks makes you think he's self-centered and egotistical, which is not true, in my opinion. He's got confidence and he himself tested and applied these things in his own book. No wonder he's successful and continues to learn; talking about practicing what you preach. Shows humility by sharing this, I am impressed as a person of faith.
