I think we need another goalkeeper. Kepa is not secure, imagine if we arrive at quarters final? But we do have some encouraging things to keep from that game.

Was there today and it was truly special, however nothing can compare to by far the best game in terms of atmosphere and limbs to Napoli at home in 2012. Best game I’ve been to and also potentially the best game ever at the bridge.

I do not live in London (I live in Trinidad) so I watch all the games on television. I must commend the fans. Usually at 4-1 down, I have seen where fans are walking out of the stadium, basically giving up hope. I was proud as a fan to see that we stuck with the team till the end. Truly amazing.
lot's of them actually did walk out, i saw a hilarious video when they tried to get back in when it was 3-4 against 9 men, but they were not allowed back in.

What a match
There is so many things to take in about that second half, Willian, azpi, pulisic, kova all completely turned around their game after having mediocre at best first halfs. Willian was so influential in us drawing that game and I think his performance once again will be overlooked, how many times has he been there on a night under the lights at the bridge, got to love him. Pulisic, first half wasn’t great but he shown that ability he has to pick himself up when he’s low and turn into a world beater, also his link up play with Cho was immense, speaking of cho I doubt we would’ve got close to a comeback without him, it really seems like he felt like he had something to prove to frank tonight cos once he came off that bench he was electric, so pleased with him. Reece James however, well that’s definitely franks best substitution so far as a manger what a difference young Reece made, and for frank to take that chance and move azpi to lb was a great decision, now I feel like azpi tonight really did show why he’s the captain of this football club, at times we have criticised him over his leadership skills but tonight he really stepped it up, ive fallen right back in love with the man and that second half could just be his greatest half in his career💙

azpi looked so comfortable on the left and James was crucial on the right when he came on. That is exactly how we should play every week, Azpi on the left and James on the right. There is a reason we have never won the league with azpi on the right, but we have won with him at CB (16/17) and LB (14/15).
Azpilicueta was calamitous. Trying to fit him into the team when he doesn’t deserve to play in his proper position is insane. We keep shooting ourselves in the foot with the dodgy team selection. Bakayoko should never have gone on loan if Loftus Cheek was going to be out for this long. Gilmore is not ready. Lampard isn’t good enough and singing Super Frank won’t change it. The media who like Chelsea wallowing in mediocrity won’t criticise him because it suits their narrative.

S Daly Did you watch the game. There is nothing to proud of and fans need to be more honest about their premiership team instead of praising a manager who hasn’t done anything to deserve it. He didn’t develop those players and doesn’t have any choice but to play them because of the ban. Guardiola would be top of the league and qualified for the knockout stage with the same team by now.
S Daly just because the media have a pact not to criticise Lampard doesn’t make him a good manager. We struggled against 9 men and were fortunate to get a draw. Ajax were unlucky. What exactly did Lampard contribute to the come back when all he did was thrown people on and hope. His team and squad selection was poor as usual.

Wild game.... massive Credits to Ajax what a first half performance from then and even the gutsy 2nd half to deny Chelsea 3 points but I think the main takeaway from this game win draw or lose is that this Chelsea side has a certain spirit that I haven’t seen since the 2012 UCL team that had so much character much like this side. I was at that game myself... Flew from Ireland to London for a work meeting that morning, ran to make the tube at 6:30pm... got the ticket off a stranger I spoke to online, no passport or I.D. at the stadium so it was looking like they wouldn't let me in for 10 minutes.... Sweating like mad from all the running to make kick off and was all so so worth it!
