@@skarlet0735 Character from MK4. He was set-up to basically be a secondary protag next to Liu Kang, but a combination of being a literal bottom tier with a boring design both visually and gameplay-wise prevented that from happening.
I guess the DLC is probably going to focus on the earthrealm side of things a lot. I get the feeling that they may make it seem like Kano's a good guy for once, so that they can play the betrayal mentioned in previous games where he's their inside man for the black dragon.

In MKX, Mileena's rebellion against Kotal caused many Outworlders to flee to Earthrealm in search of refuge. Now, Mileena's the one opening her borders to let refugees from Orderrealm find sanctuary. Amazing what a timeline twist can do for a princess.

I love how much emphasys they are putting in the new story, even outside the story mode.
Many of these intros take place outside the story mode as aftermaths of what happened after the story mode. Makes for interesting intros

I believe Scorpion's Order of Darkness skin is meant to be Hanzo. I could be wrong, though.

Having Onaga in a game where Titan Havik might be the big bad would be VERY interesting.
In the original continuity, Havik “allied” himself with Shao Kahn since his methods of expanding Outworld were more chaotic and violent than Onaga’s. But considering that he’s the very dragon that the MK logo was (originally) based off of, Onaga was still far more powerful than Shao regardless of his already-considerable powers.
Where do you get that he was the original dragon logo? The dragon is supposed to represent the elder gods in their "purest form" whatever that means

I know that Dorfen was an arena for Noob Saibot in MK3, so that could ba a hint to Noob. But I wonder who Brokade is? It could it be Kira, since she is with the Black Dragon.
With the amount of dialogue for Hotaru as well as Havik being his arch nemesis, I fully expect him to return in the expansion DLC.

Pretty sure the Kameos are meant to be how they are in this timeline. After all Goro and Motaro looks the same in story mode as in their Kameo. So I'm guessing that we already got Kanos look. Mavado I'm guessing is also the same as before because he's a kameo. The only ones you listed I can see being altered are Kai (because he is referred to as Master unlike before) and Jade because she is a Countess now
@@belovedwarrior3192i don’t think thats what the kameos truly look like cause the only reason goro, motaro, darrius, and sareena look newer is because they showed up in the story. everyone else has their klassic looks cause they don’t show up. if they intend to bring the kameos in the dlc packs they’d definitely return with a newer design. klassic designs are boring anyways
@@omarxperez I can see that and that would be fun. But I like the idea that the playable characters are the ones that was either purposefully or accidentally altered by Liu Kang. The Kameos on the other hand haven't been changed which is why they are just simply starting over.

Don't forget there's dialogue about Raiden having a sister. This is probably a female version of Fujin or a new character. ALso in the story mode there was talk about the Kollector during the tournament as well as Kotal.
Kotal and Sheeva were mentioned as opponents Raiden defeated
Mileena did mention Naknadens, but we never see them. But yes, Kotal and Sheeva were mentioned by name.
My great hope right now is that Raiden's sister is a new character, or someone like Cetrion is his sister. I like Fujin as a dude.
@@L2Sentinel Near the end of MK11 Liu Kang did seem to try and change Cetrion to make her see her ways and she almost did. It would be fun if she was given a second chance but in a better family as Raidens sister
His sister's probably either Fujin or Cetrion, considering Shinnok was indirectly confirmed to still be around in Story Mode by Geras.

I don't necessarily see a lot of these people as DLC characters. I think more they're gonna be in the sequel, for example, to me. One of the biggest mistakes of this game was not including the first lady of mortal Kombat aka Sonya Blade and only as a cameo fighter. Another example is in this timelime. They talk about raiden's sister. Do I feel We're gonna see a female version of fujin.
I’ll bet we see some of the Test Your Might characters as DLC, considering they hired the voice actors to do some lines (I am massively coping about the lack of Erron Black in this game)

She sort of is already in the game because one of the modifiers is a giant bug similar to one of her that flys across the screen. Also the same can be said about Meat because there is a little chubby zombie looking guy that waddles across the screen or sometimes drops from above and explodes. But hopefully those aren't literally them but a reference.

"Master Kai" you say? I'm liking the sound of that and someone I've been hoping to see return since MK9 was first coming out. And funny enough, Kai was actually almost in Mortal Kombat X but was swapped out for Bo' Rai Cho.
I think this Hanzo will eventually take Kuai Liang's place to become Scorpion, as he may always be cursed to be. Or perhaps reworked into this era's Noob Saibot instead of Bi-Han this time...?
The Black Dragon Clan we keep hearing. Most likely Kano, Tremor, and or his other thugs like Kobra, Jarek (who has been name dropped a couple times), Tasia, or No Face.
Hotaru I feel is without a doubt future DLC. We got Havik (real name "Dairou"), Darrius whom I sure as hell didn't expect but happy to see again lol, so their rival and the Order zealot Hotaru would be super odd. Given that he's another 3D era kombatant fans wanted back for a long time now.
D'Vorah I see returning only to be killed off in a future story lol. Fans will LOVE that. Or a new Kytinn warrior perhaps...? Whatever the case, the Kytinn race is far too dangerous to be around or possibly even exist. To the point that in the prior timeline(s) even Shao Khan himself rooted them out after conquering their island realm of Arnyek.
Bi-Han's "initiate" General Shao is warning about is most likely Frost. Though unlike Kuai Liang when he was Sub-Zero in previous timelines, I highly doubt the elder Sub-Zero is going to put up with her petty bullsh*t for long.
Li Mei: "Word is on the street is Mavado in is Sun Do."
Kitana: "Do not attempt to capture him alone, Li Mei".
☝ This is something else I like the sound of. Mavado is among my most favorite characters from the 3D era and was fun to play as. Not to mention I love how dark and edgy the Red Dragon crime lord's design was. As for the girls' dialogue, it implies Mavado is extremely dangerous, which he most certainly is, and a power kombatant. Why it irritated me so much that Mavado was overpowered and killed so easily in the (now non-canon) MKX comics by then-upstarts Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs. Whereas before in the OG timeline he was written in the lore to fight and even defeat/fend off the likes of Sonya, Jax, Kano, and nearly kill Kenshi in kombat. As well as being very intelligent and manipulative as Mavado's influence on the series/original timeline's story can be felt as early as Mortal Kombat 4. All this from a Earthrealm warrior who seemingly has no supernatural abilities and is fully human. ☝
Lastly I also love these mentions and references to new characters or super obscure ones/lore like "Dorfen"; a reference to the secret MK3 stage "Noob Saibot's Dorfen". And all that not-so-subtle Onaga foreshadowing in the game; dialogue or otherwise. You just know that's a threat that will inevitably have to be dealt with sooner or later. Be it in the new Mortal Kombat 1 game or a future title... 🥴

And as far as Hanzo goes, I’m not sure if he’ll take up the mantle of Scorpion or not. He has an anger problem, which was prevalent in past Scorpion, but then that means Kuai Liang would have to die. But what would happen to Kuai after that?? And we all know of the possibility of Bi-Han becoming Noob, but that would mean killing off our only Sub-Zero in this timeline?? Unless Noob comes from another timeline? And there’s also dialogue of Smoke having nightmares of possible Enenra, and his anger/persistence of Liu Kang making him orphaned and not bringing his family back. There’s just sooooooo many possibilities here! 😅

You might say that Mavado getting name-dropped has me... "hooked". Also hoping for Onaga and D'vorah to return. I've never cared about Jade. In any of the games. She went from being Kitana's "plus-one" to Undead Jobber to Kotal's GF. NRS did her no favors with that character arc. Maybe she'll bactually be interesting in new era.

Hanzo is already in the game. You can unlock him in invasion mode. Also there another Hanzo skin currently available in the premium store. Hanzo has been confirmed to not be a stand alone character but simply a skin. Hope this clears up some things 👍

If i'm to guess how Hanzo's appearance will play out, Kuai Liang will end up getting killed by Bi-Han, which would lead to him becoming a revenant as the new Noob Saibot, while Hanzo inherits the mantle of Scorpion

This makes me wonder how Takeda is going to be integrated. There is NOTHING about him in the dialogues and idk if Kenshi has a son in this timeline yet. My guess is that Takeda is probably working for the black dragon and might be Kenshis brother or something.
None of the kids from mkx are coming back they're only shown at the end of the game for a couple of seconds then die so no takeda,Jackie,Cassie or kung jin
