Srushti Jayant Deshmukh 10th Percentage and 12th Percentage
She went for school at Carmel Convent, BHEL, in Bhopal. She was a good, hard-working student. In 10th class, she got a CGPA of 8.
In her 12th board examination, she obtained an overall percentage of 93.4%.
Srushti could not gain admission into the IITs, as she had hoped for. So, she pursued engineering (B.Tech in Chemical Engineering) from a private engineering college (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal).

UPSC Exams, 80% of the contribution is from the student's effort, 10% is from the strategy of how to derive maximum out of the knowledge the student has and 10% is from guidance.
Here the important thing to note is that however strategy & guidance contribute only 20% but are very important because it is this 20% which decides & defines how the balance 80% of time & energy is going to be spent.
In case proper guidance is available to a student at home , there will be no need for coaching.

I understand that what matters is our own hard work but we still need some guidance and help and a mentor who can help us with that.
I completed my graduation this yr and decided to start preparing for upsc but I've no idea where should I start and how should I figure it all out.
I really really want someone to tell me where and how should I start, I know everyone says NCERT But how should I?? And where to begin with?
Yeah exactly. At the end of the day, we pay a hefty amount for the coaching institute, so at least it's important to understand which coaching centre in Delhi should be the most suitable
@@PriyaSharma-nr9oq well I've started from ncert self study geo..hist.. & polity but right now it's taking me sometime to study it as I'm also a pg student so I've classes there as well.
Currently I'm doing geography starting from class 6.

I think it depend on you,
Weather you want to attempt mains in English or Hindi.. but you must be perfect in one language. Otherwise 2 languages (eng + any other language) are just qualifying exam.
