I love the fact that his spider sense works even when he's not conscious. Shows it's more of an involuntary reflex, rather than a conscious power he uses.
Even more than a reflex, it had a goal, protect the box. Also notice astral Parker had the comic book 'spidey sense wiggles' around his head.
Spidey sense seems to operate like the force, it controls your actions, but also obeys commands.
Also you can see the spider sense around his spirit head.
Do you mean at 1:08? I still didn’t understand how Peter managed to move while he’s separated from his physical form.

When Strange separated Pete's astral form from his physical body, and his spider sense was still working, you can actually see the spider sense tingling around Peter's head in the astral form, just like it's represented in the comics, but it's transparent. From 1:17 to 1:22. Love that they included this.
This has me wondering whether there's a quirk in his brain that uses magic of sorts to predict things. Either that or the Astral plane shows his Spidey sense more visually since his soul is receiving input from it. I know comic wise, his Spidey sense is innate from the mutating spider bite but it could be different in the MCU maybe 🤔

I like the little "Ow." Doctor Strange says when Peter takes his sling ring. A small piece of jewelry being ripped off your hand, it's gonna hurt. Most medias don't get that. Very nice attention to detail Marvel.

Two more details:
1. When Peter falls into the mirror dimension, he is upside down but when he enters dimension, he switches orientation. He got reversed and flipped.
2. When Peter flies away from bleachers Street, he lands back to where he started. He didn't notice the rings so he thought he was away from the building.
So we can all agree that if Peter had listen to Strange, May would still be alive?
And five others would have died. You ask her which way she'd want that to go.

It’s reasons like this as to why I’m glad no way home got made be this movie finally made me accept Tom as Spider-Man. Spidey doesn’t even know these people from alternate dimensions but goes out of his way to help them so they can go home where instead of their fates to be death, they can actually live. It doesn’t get more Spider-Man than that!
At 2:31, when Strange says that he has control of the Mirror Dimension, the Eye of Agamotto opens and lights up with magic. Now that it doesn't have the Time Stone, it's curious of what abilities the necklace actually has. In this scene, it seems to enhance Strange's control over the Mirror Dimension; he could already move stuff around, but the Eye seems to allow Strange to completely reflect the entire city. Also, in Doctor Strange MOM, the necklace seems to also have the ability to, in a way, reveal secrets. Strange used it to uncloak Gargantos of its invisibility when it was chasing America Chavez. Strange also opened the Eye attempting to unlock the enchanted door to the Book of Vishanti, which may imply that the necklace can usually unlock anything. It's just interesting to see the Eye still being used in action, despite not having the power of Time anymore. I hope the MCU eventually sits its audience down to fully explain or show what the Eye can do without the Time Stone, and to better show Strange's mastery over the relic.
The Eye might've been made for another purpose, and was just used to contain the stone when it was found that it could.

This trio is the best one ever! They all have so much chemistry, and they’re so trustworthy, selfless, and loyal to each other. I love how Ned and MJ don’t have like an “unspoken thing” thing going on, it’s clear they’re just friends; and Ned is the best guy in the chair for Peter he’s loyal and determined. Not to mention the comedy relief from all three of them being together

Six months later and your still the only other person to notice. Marvel fans are so stupid and just take anything that’s shoved down their throat
One thing I would have changed, if I could, is how Strange responds to the idea of changing the villains fate. He knows it's possible, and could even work here. His pessimism makes sense, but should have been something like- "Didn't you hear me, Parker? There's an infinite number of them out there, all making the same mistakes. It's who they are, and you can't save everyone."
Peter is being naive in this movie, and that is what kills his aunt, but it is also what changed Strange's mind. That would be great, if the things he said didn't run counter to his own development in previous movies, which this version would not.
That's the thing with Spider-Man. He's not being naive. He cares about people on the individual level. He might have a brain like Tony Stark but, his morality is closer to Steve Rogers. He knows he can't save everyone but, he's not going to be okay with a plan that requires he sacrifice another person's life. Strange is more jaded, as is to be expected. He's both older and a doctor but, if he had tried to tell Peter he can't save everyone, I can already picture Peter responding with, "I can save the ones who are here."
The thing is that saving them is a huge if in regards to ability and if it would even work. Plus he is responsible for cleaning up peter’s mess and protecting the multiverse now.
This is the best and most creative way the Spider Sense has ever been shown.
Dr. Strange should let Petter fall for 30 minutes, or more, until Petter run out of power, and then take the box.
Or throw him into artic sea for about...... 30 minutes?

That would have been good, but Peter' reaction is good enough to jump out of the way of the portal, or to web shoot through it right before strange can close it.
He could have done it while Peter was in Astral form, and just teleport to the body far away. But again he was preoccupied trying to catch the box + Plot armor for Peter lol

0:03 I am somewhat surprised all of those villains, of Science 🧬⚗️, have completely accepted the existence of magic 🪄 at this point when they realized their own life was extended thanks to Peter messing up a spell. Dr. Strange deserved more screen time; I was looking forward to an Empowered Electro go against marvel’s mightiest wizard 🧙♂️.
Visually, that'd be a very cool fight. I think it'd also be a very short one though. Strange held his own against Thanos when Thanos had most of the infinity stones, and Strange didn't use the time stone in that fight.
Even this small part right here was better than the whole Multiverse of Madness shiat...

he wasnt, he was legitimately bored half the fight. Multiple times he could have just killed peter but thats obviously not his intent.

He wasn't. Compare that fight to the one where Strange was fighting Thanos. He held his own and only stopped fighting to keep Tony from dying. If Strange hadn't cared about hurting Spider-Man, that fight would have been over in a couple seconds.

@@Mrbluefire95 It’s clear that Strange was pretty bored of Peter here, and clearly was taking his time with him, since he’s just a kid who is being rebellious and doesn’t want to startle nor overwhelm and just get back the box and deal with him, you could see it his face he is relaxed in this fight, compared to when he fights Thanos and Sinister Strange, where his face is completely fucking focused and concentrated. He underestimated Peter though and that got him beat.
Strange so should’ve taken Thanos on this magical ride in Infinity war lol

Strange tried placing Thanos into the Mirror Dimension during their fight in Infinity War, but Thanos repelled it with the Reality Stone.

To be fair, being good at all the science stuff is all Peter Parker. He already had those skills before he became Spider-Man. Spider-Man is what allows him to crawl on walls and have crazy reflexes and incredible strength. All the smart stuff, that's all Peter.
Not every Spiderman is a science genius. Spider Gwen is a drummer for a high school rock band, Spiderman Noir is a private detective, Web Weaver is a fashion designer

If you look closely, you can see what I believe to be Peter's spider sesne initiated as sort of invisible vibrational rays, radiating around his heads when his spider sense makes it so Peter's physical form dodges Doctor Strange's attempts at grabbing the spell box.
Truly it is a remarkable idea 👏

You can see in the whole battle he was only trying to stun him or block his path, or get him stuck lol. No sort of offensive or defensive spells, just tricks. Like portalling him in the same space, making the cloack hold him still, putting him in Astral form. Everything was just to hold him still for long enough to get the box
But Peter had plot armor so yeah.

petter had plot armor and could "swim back" to his body. and hsi spider sense can now move his body with very controlled precise movement. he didn't try to bind his unconscious body either

@@ereder1476 Spider sense is literally an involuntary cosmic ability. The web of life is what gives that ability to all of the Spidermen/women. That's why Peter's body is able to react to strange. Peter isn't doing anything, Peter had a goal to keep the box away from Strange and the sense was doing so. In all reality, all of the Spiderman movies have hugely nerfed Spiderman in almost every capacity in terms of what he's capable of. He's insanely strong, intelligent, very agile and fast, very durable, and his spider sense is a cosmic ability. His Spider sense probably being the most nerfed thing about him. Madame web is who controls the web of life and she can see the future of the Spidermen, which is why in lots of cases it looks like Spiderman can predict danger. Spiderman who isn't nerfed and who stops holding back and being nice, is probably one of the most dangerous characters in Marvel.
This goes to show you that even though they are both Genius level intellect, it all still comes down to their personalities/character.

I feel like this flew over most peoples heads, but… they’re not technically in the mirror dimension when Spider-Man wins. He shattered it when the two portals got pulled together. I doubt Dr. Strange has ever been to “Behind the Mirror Dimension”, Spider-Man was just able to figure it out faster

The entire plot could have been resolved in 5 seconds if Peter just let Doctor Strange send the villains back in the first place. Peter's overall plan to cure the villains and change the endings of their respecitive films is what made the disaster big enough to take up the entire film to resolve

This is almost very cool, I just have one major complaint. They did not do Strange justice. He's the protector of reality, it's his job to make sure the universe is true no matter what. And for a person with such high responsibility, he almost felt like he was joking with that chase scene. It felt more like a fun practice thing than him trying to save the multiverse from invading their universe. Like comeon, scream, try, chase, fly, do stuff lol. Peter was done well tho, specially his body having natural reflex without his mind.
Strange should've just immediately left the place when he got the box. I guess he didn't expect Spiderman to be so intelligent. But I guess there wouldn't be a movie lol.

Plus he had the space stone, it's possible he could've just teleported out of it.
There's a scene in their fight where Thanos hurls a beam at Strange and Strange 'shatters' it and locks it up in what looks like a portion of the mirror dimension, then sends that back to Thanos. Thanos breaks it with the Power Stone and then uses the Space Stone to transform it into a black hole looking thing, which Strange then dissipates into butterflies.
So he definitely tried to use the mirror dimension on Thanos. It just didn't work.
Howcome no one is talking about that in across the spider verse that fight when Miles was chased by all the spider men to stop him from saving his dad this was basically like the fight we are watching right now
