I hope you’re having a dandy week, and thanks for joining me for the eighth and final instalment from Atlanta… Today I’m getting down and dirty with probably the most famous food challenge Atlanta has to offer. I have to say, the voiceovers instead of just speeding up the sounds of eating at a crazy pace, are what make this channel so good! Seriously man, you make it so fun to watch a video in order to get motivated to go cook and actually eat. I'm really happy I found your channel, and it's wild watching what you can do.
I truly miss The Vortex. We used to eat there and then head to the hockey game. One of the best things about this place is that they don't put up with bratty kids or their parents. Mature, respectful adults only and the service is AWESOME along with the food.
He was a great server! He was great fun, chatting about it being a good hangover challenge and making a fun jab at being from the "nooorth"! Good vibes from the other patrons passing by, too.
Atlantan here, and you’ve got it exactly right! they talk openly, it’s 18 or 21 and older only, and it’s got a very punk, adult hang out vibe. The food is fantastic top to bottom, and while our guy only tried the monster burger for the challenge, they’re famous for having about 20 different VERY unique burgers, such as a “Fat Elvis” burger with peanut butter and dried plantains and jelly I think. Good stuff all around. Was thrilled to see him somewhere so close by!
They are awesome people i go there quite often. Alot of places in the metro atlanta are are usually cool like that though. Stopped by there before going the Falcons draft party last week. The world of coca cola and georgia aquarium is pretty close to there too.
As an Atlantan who ordered the quadruple then ate the leftovers for 3 days, tip of the hat to you, we love Vortex here and you really stuck a pin in the map with this one.
As a native Atlantan, this makes me so happy! Give your fans a heads up so we can come watch! I’ve been to the Vortex and I couldn’t even finish the Classic Bypass in one sitting. Well done, Adam!
Both. He needs to make a beard oil called burger grease and use “who needs beard out when you have burger grease?” As the slogan/tag line. However if/when he makes the shirt make most sizes, XS-5X.
I absolutely LOVE how specific you are with the timing of your music to what is happening on camera. As a musician who has done studio work and live music. I can't say how much I appreciate your attention to detail (maybe its luck) but I assume you put time and effort in. Nice job with the editing, and kick ass eating man!

@@flynnlivescmd It was quite the time, actually! I was largely East Coast bound but the hotel staff were very friendly and enjoyed the accent. Sent one girl into a spin trying to make a cup of tea but it was a learning experience for all involved.

Utah has a challenge at Lucky 13 that is insanely difficult called 'the Lucky 13 Challenge' where you have to eat Big Benny and the Bear Burger! Tons of food and one is very very spicy! Not too many people could do this one!
I think you found your plan "C" - Burger Beard Oil. Bottle it up. Thank you for the great series Adam. Hopefully you can make it to the Northwest US sometime, Oregon or Washington.
I'm American and I too use to think everyone over there in the UK sounded the same. I was so wrong - people over there have way more varying accents than we do in the US. 😂

Actually you are the FIRST person to finish this UPDATED version of The Super-Stack Quadruple Coronary Bypass Challenge, BECAUSE the challenge had been changed AFTER Randy and Nat, by the Vortex adding the (2) 32oz sodas as part of the challenge. Randy and Nat did not have to do those items because they weren't part of the challenge!

I was a graphic t-shirt freak when I was a kid and that is a unique one as far as restaurant ones go. Good job, that was a lot of weighty food to eat in 30 minutes!

Looked great, I spent about a month in texas over the years and badly miss the food. We went to one saloon type bar and ordered burgers,it arrived in a plastic basket in about an inch of grease, the bottom of the burger bap had disintegrated. It sounds awful but honestly one of the best burgers I ever ate.

A lot of these challenges seem really reasonably priced, but $80 for this one is crazy!
