I was introduced to Glenn Hughes by my roommate Jay. All I can say is this: this dude rocks! He absolutely is the voice of rock! He sings with purpose, with soul! Wow! He’s without a doubt one of the greatest singers of all time!

He's 65......... still don't know how can he sing this good. And he's making new music every single fucking year!
Damn. 35 years ago I was the Tour Manager for Hughes / Thrall. Glenn had a fabulous voice then and still has a great voice today. And yes, despite a mountain of blow and an ocean of alcohol.
He's marvellous don't know how he's done it, he's just exceptional, Love every moment of his concerts, lyrics & songs 👍❤❤

A while back, the syndicated Blues Deluxe radio show had a nice interview with Glenn and I discovered that Glenn's parents named him after Glenn Miller. And years ago, Glenn Hughes also played the trombone! Glad he switched to guitar (and of course, his vocals are stellar)!

Considering the amount of drugs that he took over the years its amazing that A he's still alive and B his voice is in such great shape. He's definitely the best of the former Deep Purple singers.

Nobody surpasses Ian Gillan as the best vocalist for Deep Purple... Its Gillans voice that defines the group in its early days
As far as range and versatility go he's definitely the best voice Purple ever had.
All the other stuff aside, I heard he never smoked cigarettes. I think that is the secret to voice that never ages.
@@johnfranklin5785 Without Deep Purple, Gillan sank hard and fast. Glenn was too good to be associated only with Deep Purple. He was already a superstar with Trapeze prior to DP and went on to have success with nearly every act he performed with afterwards. As a complete vocalist, I struggle to think of any that achieved what Glenn did.

Pure Glenn Hughes Greatness. I have been a fan since the early 70's when he was fronting the power trio, "TRAPEZE". Amazing that after all these years his singing is better than ever and he is still making some really good new music.
Can't get enough of the Hughes double tracked vocals.
A marvel. Most singers who have taken even the best care of their instruments for 50 plus years don’t sound as good as this man. Not saying he abused himself, but time takes something away from just about everybody and you’d think Glenn Hughes stepped out of a time machine.

All I want for Christmas is a Glenn Hughes CD....but I can't wait that long :) Vocals still superb, Great Rock track.with a great funky interlude that made me grin love it!
I believe that hughes became to be the best rock vocalist only in 1994 with his comeback album from now on..., yes, he was a great vocalist already before but he did only one great album as a vocalist, it was the album hughes/thrall from 1982, in other albums from the seventies and eighties he sang very good but something was missing, he couldn't be a perfect vocalist back then because of his drugs problem, it was felt on live shows, the perfect example is the few live shows he did with black sabbath, he was a disaster and was replaced by ray gillen, but since 1994 we can hear the best rock vocals ever in history and in his own solo albums, i was blessed by god to be at the best show hughes ever had in his career, it was in 2012 at tel-aviv, it was his first time in israel so he wanted to show the crowd why he's called the voice of rock, he did amazing things with his voice, i saw him live more than once so i can tell.

Best song that I have heard off the album!!!!!This goes back to the roots of Glenn Hughes,(Trapeze, Deep Purple) the bridge in this tune sounds like Trapeze, along with the music!
