As someone who’s never heard the original, I think you guys are just used to Lewis singing it. I think it sounds amazing. You’re supposed to make a song your own when covering it, and that’s what he did. ♥️
I agree with you. Obviously Lewis Capaldi is the original so we're gonna be used to it and it's a great song. But this cover was still very good in it's own way. I enjoyed it and Lost On You is one of my favorite Lewis songs.
If you see this: Do "16 Tons". I bet it would sound terrific with your voice. Also...what about some Five Finger Death Punch & Metallica? I feel like people are whining because some of these songs don't suit your awesome voice. You have a good voice! Choose songs that suit it. I like you.
