In this my new video of Mortal Kombat 1 you can see some of the skins and gears available for Scorpion.
This mortal kombat 1 scorpion skins video was recorded, played and edited completely by me, the video is taken from the PS5 version of the game.
In this MK1 video you can see some of the skins available for Scorpion in the game, these are all the skins that are unlocked by completing the story mode of the game.
Other skins and gears are available by completing the character's Mastery, which reaches up to level 35.

these are the skins unlocked by completing story mode and invasion mode, I'm at character level 20. There are probably more skins to unlock for Scorpion.
wait I have completed the story and invasion but some of the masks and skins uve shown I have never gotten them
@@tommyblade8093I think it depends on what difficulty you do story on but also take the nether stone from the final invasions boss and go to all the islands and unlock and play the nether stone ware as they also have skins
@@J3msStar I'm pretty sure I did all of them already. bc every island I go to doesn't have the green line anymore. even with the netherstone. so I'm really confused how I didn't get the nerves of steel skin. but I got the perfect grandmaster skin

@@tommyblade8093 ur chillin invasions is pretty easy u gradually level up throughout and by the time you get to that point your max level and can beat everyone easily so it’s not to bad
The fact that the character is voiced by the same actor who did Jin Sakai and there's a mask that looks a lot like the Ghost of Thushima just makes me love more the Game and this specific character

Compared to MK11 customization, this is a big let down for me.

So skin system in MK1 is like that :
Skin 1 - Default, Main Story Costumes
Skin 2 - Alternate Costumes from Different Timeline (brought by Liu Kang to Armageddon battle, Good versions of all characters)
Skin 3 - Shang Tsung's Timeline Costumes (Evil Dark versions of all characters)
Palettes : all skins have 6 palettes. Seasonal costumes add more palettes to existing costumes
Bonus Costumes : Day of Death Subzero and Scorpion, Brazil Tanya etc
Gears : 30+ options for character's personal items. it was 3 different pieces in MK11, here only one in MK1

If I’m being honest ima just honestly stick with the default knowing customization is so limited and looks terrible now
And Also the Third skin Is Titan Hanzo
Tbh I think this was the best decision netherrealm could’ve made for customization. Having one gear piece per character lets them do anything they want with new outfits. In mk11 all outfits were restricted in design due to the 3 gear pieces but not any more.

You can easily tell there’s 3 more costume slots for Scorpion which is either more hidden content for him or (very likely) DLC skins and hopefully the Klassic ninja skins as well alongside the other ninjas.

I don’t think the pallet slots are a limit. That would be kinda dumb imo for the content years to come. It’ll likely just go down more

I wish they just did retro outfits instead of the new designs, because it seems they picked the strangest ones to be in the game.

The mk3 skin looked terrible, kold war sucked, and let’s not even talk about infrared, his human skin and normal were cool but let’s not act like it was a gold mine. They can do the same and even more with the new system they just have to start pumping out the content

One gear piece for a particular body part is unacceptable. Can't believe how limited it is compared to MK11. ( which isn't that much better either )
As much as I love this game I have to agree with you. The customization in this game is borderline pathetic. MK11 had way more options: customizing weapon, headpiece, gear, and costume with like 30 skins per character.
The costume selection is also pretty poor. We have fully rendered great ones for the kameos, but they arent skins. Its too bad because a lot of these redesigns arent doing it for me.
@@anthonyredgrave3069for gears, i agree. But skins, i feel like we can't debate abt this because we're LITERALLY on the first few days of MK1 being available. And ed boon once says that this game will be supported for longer time compared to MK11, so i feel like we can get soo much skin by that time :)
@@rascaldoesntdream127 you're right about the gears however hugely wrong about the skins. In mk11, each character had only like 4 skins but different colour variations like mk1, mk1 is just more simplified. This is besides the league skins obviously, but not every character had them.

Personally, I really like Scorpion's second "style" I love the suit the hairstyle looks epic

So happy the gear and costumés feels more like bouses rather than an obligatory list to fill like in mk 11

Kind of miss the Katana and Wakazashi Hanzo had. That’s why Hanzo is my favorite scorpion. He’s a real Shinobi
That titan skin is so clean now i just need that deception skin and maybe a classic skin so i can play as hanzo no disrespect to kuai he did a fairly good job for not having any of the traits that make scorpion scorpion aside from gear and powers but hanzo shall always be the true scorpion.
I need to ask; do they perform the Stationary Taunts when they win a round or are they exclusive to just taunting?
I’m assuming stationary taunts are done during the match, and walkaway taunts are done at the end of a round.
What would make MK 1 (hopefully) Better is they should add the option for you to pick a color on the Clothes you're equiping.

that's understandable honestly, it just isn't the same especially when Hanzo was the og and such a badass Scorpion. I honestly would've preferred Kuai Liang be Tundra like before and have him take over the Sub-Zero role in MK2 like the original.

And hanzo's story is what sets him apart from alot of the kast he's truly a sad story that makes you go ya know what whoever he kills probably deserves it don't get in his way of vengeance dude has had it fuckin rough.

Hey is there a way to have multiple preset skins ready to go like they did in MK 11 or do you have to customize your character every time you want to change it up? For example, is there a way i can have both a Standard Johnny Cage skin and a Jean Claude one ready to use or to i manually have to equip each skin every time i want to switch it up?

Lets be honest. MK1 has such a poor choice of skins and gear compared to MK 11. I could spend hours in customization tab in MK11.

@@Mr_RedRiversI believe I got the perfect grandmaster skin from the village or festival chests. u have to get pass the netherstone gate to get to the chest. but I have never gotten the nerves of steel skin. I completed everything from invasion. like every lines are blue. except wu shi place but that's for practice.

How did you unlock the 3rd Order out of Darkness skin? It's not from the story mode. I've been playing Invasions to unlock it but frankly I'm tired of wasting hours just to unlock common gear for Mileena.

So let me get this straight
In Injustice 2 you could customise the characters whole outfit piece by piece.
In MK11 you could pick from several skins, each of them had a different pallette collection, ALONG with alternate looks for the characters most important attributes such as weapons, details and items + DLC items and skins
In MK1 you get one gear option for scorpion, consisting of a few variants and a few skins........ that is absolutely pathetic compared to what we got before. Like holy shit.
