- Princes Street Swing Bridge 29 May 2023
Again, as with the previous video, sorry for the massive amount of wind noise.
Here we are at Princes Street, at the Cumberland Basin in Bristol. The port authority open the bridge to let a single yaught through - something which is done every hour. Enjoy the video, and the various squeaky creaky noises made by the bridge!

Also it’s strange that the lights just shown a amber light and didn’t start flashing
Yep I didnt expect that!
Nice Video!👍🏻
Thank you very much!
They need to replace them swing bridge lights the reds don’t work
Broken reds
Wheres the alarm?Wheres the red lights? And wheres my can of WD40 lol?
That bridge sounded terrible when in motion! Some WD-40 really wouldn't go too amiss there, nor would a slightly louder alarm judging by how long it took to clear the bridge. Nonetheless, great catch of it in operation!
Think youd need a pretty big can of WD40 to fix that 😂 need an electrician to fix the lights too. Thanks for watching!
