Love hearing his voice resonate over the pot. I have that exact same banjo hung at the end of my couch, and it always catches me off guard when I hear it ring next to me while I'm talking.
I'd have loved to see him try. I don't see how the strap is attached. it's just loosely tucked behind a couple hooks. As far as I can tell it would hit the floor shortly after he stood up. The ends should attach back to the strap with chicago screws, no?
@@randomdestructn looks like the hook goes through the strap hole..... the downside appears to be that you cannot adjust the strap without disassembly.

I have a gold tone (open back, CC-50). I wonder if it would be the same thing.
Will this work with an old banjo that belonged to my dad I can't figure out how to get the strap on it because the other strap stud has come off.
I found some amazing plans for Woodglut. Just check them out.
6:25 "I'd demonstrate putting it on but once again this is a left handed banjo.... -_-
Must be difficult to put on, huh?

It is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE that you cannot use a cradle strap on a GoodTime banjo without taking it apart. #FALSE
SO glad that you had success.. it IS possible.. just a bit tougher..
