Even though I do not serve in the military it feels good to watch this and to know other families will be this happy as well.
I thank our president for keeping his promise. This family and others like it have something to be joyous about. Let's get out of Afghanistan. Peace must rule. I am grateful beyond words to our men and women who put their lives on the line in this frightening world. My town lost a soldier in Iraq, and I know they are so sad not to have Jamie home for Christmas. God bless us, and keep our people safe. Thank you to President Obama for making this Christmas a blessing to the survivors.

"Supporting our troops" does NOT mean an increased military budget, it means making sure they get home safe living out their lives in comfort. People tend to lose focus of the men behind the shield, I just thank God we have our troops home for the holidays.
