  • The quarterback caveats are gone; Matt LaFleur has proven he's one of the best coaches in the NFL. In fact, Mike McCarthy's success post-Packers with Dak Prescott and LaFleur with Love proves that maybe we've underrated BOTH coaches' impact on the Packers. Plus, was there a moral victory in almost beating the 49ers?

I remember when he impressed both Gutty and murphy they didnot hesitate to snag him, i think with rogers mlf was at times hesitant and at times a little tight on final decisions on the field. I will admit mid season last year i was asking myself when will he trust and let #10 loose, check answered on the last half of the season.

The salary of Matt Lafluer is around $5 million annually. He is known for his ability to get the most out of his players and he definitely deserves everything he has got. Matt Lafluer signed a 4-year contract with the Green Bay Packers worth $20 million. There should be no doubt that if Matt Lafluer continues what he is doing in the upcoming years as our head coach, he will become one of the best head coaches in the entire National Football League. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

I very clearly remember the mid- '90s and seeing incremental improvement as they made their way to the SB. Moral victories when they just couldn't get past the Cowboys a few seasons prior, I suppose, but I also remember the 70s and 80s teams when we didn't even have that.

One aspect of our loss to the 49ers that you didn't mention were the two dropped INTs. Brock Purdy often throws up one of two passes a game that are there for the taking. You have to take advantage of those opportunities when they are presented, especially in a playoff game. That was one of many frustrating aspects of that game that haunt us.

You do know the GM is in charge of player decisions. Matt doesn't draft or sign players. He is allowed to hire and fire his coaches and make suggestions on players but that decision is ultimately on Brian. And Brian has been pretty good cleaning up his personal mistakes he made

@@MrKhankab The second pick doesn't happen if the kicker doesn't miss the kick. The first pick off a dropped pass from the receiver and it didn't give SF any points. MLF fails on short down yardage more than most coaches especially in the postseason. Handing the ball off to the RB 7 yards in the backfield out of shotgun on a delayed handoff hardly has ever worked. More FB dives, QB push(Love needs to get lower and stronger).
Yes MLF has failed to fire/cut the guys costing the packers all regular season and those guys end up being exposed in the postseason every single time (2 straight SPT's coaches, Kevin King, Savage (last year), Kicker, etc). He always defends them until it's too late.
