Great video, this is my second time listening to it. I could listen to CJ speak for hours, I love "old war stories". CJ seems like a nice easy-going man, I also like the fact that he doesnt bash anyone (even if the people were to deserve it). If possible please try to get Richie, Marky, Clem, Mickey, Linda, or Vera on the show.
You are kidding about 3 hours? It is 3 a.m. and I could have watched you guys for another 3 hrs. Definitely great, real knowledgeable questions! Where else would we have sat in the living room chatting with great CJ Ramone for hours?? ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ... Infinite ...
Cannot believe I missed CJ's show in Maryland in November last year... Kicking myself. Did not see it anywhere. I live about 40 min. from there too! Boooo to me. But did get to see him in Richmond, just had to drive an extra 2 hrs each way... SO WORTH IT!!! What an honor. I am a chatterbox, but was speechless: CJ had no idea how much I know about the Ramones and how many songs I sing along... Oh, well, just need to go to more of his shows, that is is! :D
Totally disagree that TOO TOUGH TO DIE "sounds like crap". That record sounds awesome (Tommy Ramone and Ed Stasium were back at the helm).Take a listen to "Mama's Boy", the opening track. It sounds massive. Also, TOO TOUGH TO DIE was the *first* album Richie is on. ANIMAL BOY was his second record. Then HALFWAY TO SANITY.
A couple of things: - Joey wrote "Do You Remember Rock N' Roll Radio", not Dee Dee (CJ suggests that Dee Dee's love of The Bay City Rollers influenced that song). - Joey did NOT write "The KKK Took My Baby Away" about Johnny. That song was written BEFORE the whole Linda/Johnny incident. It was written about a black girl that Joey met and had been sort of been dating. There's a whole story about it. Monte wrongly suggests in the END OF THE CENTURY documentary that "KKK" is about Johnny. I'm surprised to hear that CJ doesn't know that.
Great conversation (I wouldn't call it an interview)! 3 hours with CJ speaking from his heart, with all his sincerity, is awesome for Ramones fans. A few mistaken informations that I found also were mentioned on the comments section. One question: who's the guy from the far right? The "berlin131" user. By the way he talks, he seems like close to the band. P.S.: I am from Brazil and would be so proud to talk to CJ. The guy that went on the show didn't say a thing!
BRAZIL LOVES CJ !!!
Congratulations, the show is awesome!
Great interview! CJ rocks keeping the Ramones music alive.Long live the music of the Ramones!

CJ is the coolest guy, as a kid I loved hearing the contrast between him and Joey singing.
Best CJ interview ever.

My band Kobanes opened that Abbey Pub show in Chicago. It was a great time! Loved seeing Daniel Rey play guitar too! Rock on CJ!
Absolutely awesome chat by everyone!! Ramones Forever! So much to say, but it would take a 1000 page-book... Hint, hint CJ? Punk On! Respect to all. ♥
Really great conversation. Congrats!
That was a cracking 3 hours ...superb
Johnny was trying to hire...Lux Interior from The Cramps.

Dee Dee Ramone wrote "She Belongs To Me"...that wasn't a Joey Ramone song.
