    Great video, United seems to have an excellent onboard service (much better than in 2020). I flew with them on the B752 flatbed in BC from LAX-SAL in January 2021 and I received a simple sandwich but even then with metal cutlery so thumbs up to them for keeping a constant service

      They do! I have a trip report on those Polaris seats from Lima to Newark before pandemic. Onboard service was great. Due pandemic the service was reduced on 2021 in general. I'm glad that United is coming back to their normal service, greetings and happy new year!

    Ok here is the thing. I am planning to fly in February 2024 (1 month from now) the bad thing about United is the schedules. It arrives at 2am LAX-SAL and then it leaves at 3am from SAL-LAX. I guess it can work for some people. For me it's going to be tough. Having watched the United and Delta videos, I think United offers better Business class. Hopefully there is IFE nowadays.

      Delta provides a better asthetic interiors, but for this route hot meals are not available. United does have hot meals. Regarding the schedule, it is on that way having in mind that most of the people traveling on those flighs still have a couple of hours to go driving to their hometowns which sometimes can be up to 3 more hours. This gives them enought time to arrive into the airport when flight is departing back to LAX. Sorry for the late response, how was your experience?

    Folks who ride "First Class" pay extra for their airline tickets.

    You Bro. Any suggestions how to come up on tickets at reasonable/cheap prices from LAX-SAL-LAX?

    • @WSAirplanes
      @WSAirplanes  Před rokem +1

      Buy first the air tikets. Book them one way. For example United have the cheapest option going to SAL but back to LA is cheapper with Delta. It takes time but totaly worth it since you could save some cents. Try to book with American also via Miami or Dallas, they have great deals!

    I flew IAD-SAL and there was no IFE nor free drinks or snacks or food they didn’t have business class and it was avianca use to have business class

    Did Business Class have IFE? Not sure if I noticed any screens.

    • @WSAirplanes
      @WSAirplanes  Před rokem +1

      No IFE, but United offers DirectTV on some of their aircraft. In minute 7:45 there's a clip from another flight (always SAL-LAX) in which aircraft had Direct TV. United has plans to switch Direct TV to IFE in all of its aircraft!

      @marko_ys Před rokem

      Interestingly enough, some Boeing 737-700s have the older Direct TV system with the current gen recliners

    I wonder how UAL Economy service is for short haul routes such as IAH-SAL and back, considering them for my next trip since Avianca has gone downhill a lot. There are a few planes such as N769AV but who knows if you’re gonna get one of those.
    Also, have you considered making a social hangout area for your fans?

    • @WSAirplanes
      @WSAirplanes  Před rokem

      I did a video on their economy class SAL-LAX-SAL but unfortunately I lost those clips. Their service is between American and Delta in economy class. I did a trip report on the N632AV recently reviewing the new "low cost" product in avianca.
      Yes, Im considering to create a social hangout area for fans, I'm working on it!

    • @marko_ys
      @marko_ys Před rokem

      @@WSAirplanes If that is the case then I miight not fly them, even an L fare with Avianca is like 200 bucks cheaper than just regular Economy with United

    • @DarkArchon87
      @DarkArchon87 Před rokem

      It just sucks that I can’t fly nonstop from DC unless it’s with Avianca or Volaris. Avianca has def gone down hill. I miss the old Taca airlines.

  • @americanpaisareturns9051

    United is definitely not the best onboard service

    • @WSAirplanes
      @WSAirplanes  Před rokem

      I consider them to be the best, because they provide the most complete service. From access to the lounge to an descent onboard service in SAL-LAX-SAL route. Wait for the video! 😊

      Hey! I also consider flying United Airlines from San Salvador to Los Angeles because I was born in El Salvador and I live in Los Angeles.
