Maybe Qimir was frozen in carbonite for a few decades? I think Sol suspected it was Mae from the beginning. Venestra's ship is the best looking new design we've gotten on the show so far.
I think Sol figured out it was Mae when he asked about finding Pip.
The real life ages of the actors works for Qimir saying he was a Jedi a "long time ago". He is 37 and she is 25. If he was kicked out of the Jedi 20-25 years ago aged 12-17 they would have never met at the academy.
He could not easily die, he knows that her jedi morality forbids her to attack someone in this vulnerable position. He's making her feel in control, thats the goal. but in reality, he's turning her to the dark side just as effectively, perhaps even better. and its BRILLIANT

Normally Disney plus shows begin strong and fade away unfortunately. The trajectory of the Acolyte is the other way around, it gets better and better with every episode

Has anyone brought up how close Qimir is to Chimera? A chimera is a mythic beast combo of more than one creature and in biology it refers to organisms with 2 distinct DNA strands. Assuming it is true he was a jedi and has now embraced the dark side that would make him a force chimera.
He’s already got the power of 2 😱
@@MatthewPalanca It's an interesting idea to think of all Sith having that power of 2. By both-sidesing it they only need a master for so long. Then they can recruit and corrupt a pupil to take the master out together.

I totally agree with you Alex about how it feels like there is not enough time to wrap about the whole High Republic Publishing initiative in the next year. I fell like there’s so many things that I want to get wrapped up, and I’m gonna be so upset if there are major plot lines left dangling at the end of the publishing initiative. PS I love your videos and how you and Mollie are so accepting of every part of this fandom and make everyone feel welcome.
