I'm just about 28 weeks with my first baby. I'm 35 years old and never really expected to have a baby so it's been quite an adjustment for me (with many more adjustments to go I should think!) Your videos have been informative, helpful, enlightening, and comforting for me during this time. And I just wanted to say thank you! I cannot believe I'll be entering my third trimester soon. Hi Lauren, thank you for contacting us. I know it can be confusing. The end of week 26 is the end of your second trimester and the beginning of of your third trimester as you roll into week 27. The trimesters can be calculated in different ways such as 13.3 weeks is the end of first trimester and 26.6 weeks the end of the second trimester etc. Find below is the best way to calculate.
First Trimester (Weeks 1-13)
Month1: Weeks 1-4
Month 2: Weeks 5-8
Month 3: Weeks 9-13
Second Trimester (Weeks 14-26)
Month 4: Week 14-17
Month 5: Week 18-21
Month 6: Week 22-26
Third Trimester (Weeks 27 until birth)
Month 7: Week 27-30
Month 8: Week 31-35
Month 9: Week 36-40

I'm 27 weeks today!! Its a real mile stone since we lost our last baby in may! Once my hubby wakes up I am going to show him this video and see if he can hear our daughter Ariel's heart beat from the abdomen. Oh my gosh I am so excited

It is believed to be due to a compressed nerve or group of small blood vessels. It is not something to worry about. Try to get the baby to change position when it happens. Kind regards Monica

It does sound as though the baby is in the breech position if you are feeling the kicks so low but you don't need to worry. Baby has lots of time to turn around. If baby turns by 37 weeks you will be fine.

Hi there, if you've been following a good diet this would include most nutrients you would need for baby. Women were giving birth thousands of years before pre natal vitamins... so I'm sure you'll be fine! If you are worried you may be able to have an ultrasound to check to see how the pregnancy is progressing. I hope you feel better! Thanks for watching

I must say at 27 in having some serious issues breathing. I feel dizzy a lot and sometimes see spots! Not all the time, but I feel pretty crappy at the moment. Can't wait to meet my baby girl though!!!

The end of week 26 marks the end of your second trimester and the beginning of your third trimester.
The beginning of week 27 marks the end of your second trimester and the beginning of your third.
I agree it is a bit confusing and thank you for bringing that to my attention.

I love watching your videos even being pregnant for the second time. Its been 6 years and love just catching up on things that I have forgotten. I do have a couple questions when the baby moves it seems like im feeling a vibrating sensation. Its getting more frequent when she moves. I never experienced this with my son, so I was just wondering what it could be from and if its something I need to address to my doctor. I will be 28 weeks sunday. :) Thanks again for all your videos.

I only took prenatal vitamins in the first and half of the second trimester with my daughter and she came out fine. 7lbs 9oz 20 in.. healthy and beautiful. Everything will be fine.

The videos are great. This is my 2nd pregnancy. I learn from each video. My main concern is that I'm not gaining enough weight now. I started about 168lbs and now average 188 at my scale at home. At the doctor, I am about 190. I don't see the lbs go up much if any.
