Oh no,I would be sad...Honestly they deserve to be in an art gallery, if I was her I would open one myself.
I fear she might end up getting -200 /2000 for her paintings but it is honestly too little for such a excellent artist , she has something that most modern students artists donât.

yâknow i really love art and going to art school seems like a good thing to do but the concept of having your art graded/having to be finished my a certain time seems wrong to me idk

altfaith the point of art school is to get a career in the field, and to become more knowledgeable about techniques, styles, etc. If nothing is graded or submitted within a certain time frame, how will any of the students grow as artists or learn to work in a time crunch? Doing art as a profession isnât just waiting for inspiration to hit, sometimes itâs producing work under stressful circumstances and doing it over if itâs not right the first time.
art school isn't made for people who love art, it's made for people who want to monetize that skill

I had a pretty bad lisp until I was like 25 when my sister one night was just like.
You can say "Pst" right
And I tried it and it was a perfect "s". Took like 6 months after that to teach myself to say all my "S's" that way and people barely notice it anymore. Just figured I'd say something incase it could help anybody. Because having a lisp was awful growing up.

or just don't put your tongue at the top of your mouth touching your top teeth. it should stay at the bottom and touch the lower teeth. if anything you're trying to press your tongue down to say S not pick it up.

I don't know what your situation is but you don't need to go to art school to study art. if art is really your dream then dont let anything stop you from pursuing it. Practice at home watch online tutorials and ask your friends for feedback. Art has never been so accessible.
I live in a country where there aren't any good art schools but I've been studying from online resources for almost 2 years now. its definitely not easy but its better than not being able to study art at all.

A few days ago I talked with a friend of mine about how all my life I have been dreaming of having my art in a museum. It got me just so miserable because it made me believe that all of a sudden it would never happen, that I haven't grown enough in art to actually achieve that goal one day. But seeing your video's and seeing you grow in your art made me motivated to draw and have hope that I will one day maybe i would have an art piece of myself at my own exposition. I know that it still almost inpossible but I'll try to get there! Keep doing what you're doing and thank you for your video's and your art.
As an art graduate (also trying to get my work into exhibitions and galleries), I would recommend going onto websites of art venues in your area, or their social media pages to stay up to date with them, ask any artist friends, get a vocal network going of people talking about artwork and entering artwork into these places. That's how I got into group exhibitions and conventions. It never hurts to look and ask, the very best of luck with it!

I absolutely admire your acute sense of colour theory and grasp on pattern and line work, mostly evident in your more, âexperimentalâ works as you like to call it, or I like to consider, abstract and surreal works. Oh, donât get me started on those woodblock prints! Your line work is next level, it only makes sense all the more why youâve decided to pursue tattoo art. As much as I love you abstract work, you are also equally talented in figurative paintings. I roll my eyes at the point where you made the statement âget betterâ at painting. Ms Jasmine, girl. You already are better. Youâre amazing. All you work has the appearance of âfinishâ but I know the feels like any artist, I myself get it, we always feel like our work is never quite finished. Girl!!! Youâre gonna LOVE intaglio you can jam pack so much detail onto a copper plate. Youâre going to be really good at it with your level of detail in everything. Itâs perfect for tattooing too because you can achieve so many cool effects and itâs very precise line work. Just remember the best etchings have a huge range of contrast- blackest blacks against white white. I find that really death oriented images (like a white skeleton in a dark black robe holding a sceptre kind of image) work amazingly well!

I love that you were listening to crumb in that short film! Also intaglio is super fun, etching is time consuming but hella rewarding and drypoint is a lot faster and has a super cool messy feeling to it. You are going to have a lot of fun in that class!

oh my gosh I have a feeling you're going to love intaglio. it's such a fun medium and the best of both printmaking and illustrating worlds. I wish my printmaking class focused solely on relief/intaglio because we did both and it kind of lost the wow factor that you were able to get by comparing your first and last relief pieces

Yup deadlines are, at least in my major, a very important and big thing. I'm graduating this year from illustration&animation in the Netherlands and a good planning is a very big part of animation. But I love my profession and wouldnt change it for anything else!

@@twat3323 in my country you can choose what you want to study in high school and we call them profiles. you can choose what profile you want to go to. for example, if you like math, there is a profile called "mathematics and informatics", or if you like literature you can go on "filology" (i don't know if this is an english word lmao), or for biology is "bio-chemistry"/"natural science" and there are many more based on what you like. đ€©
and also there are highschools specially made, for example art highschools or pedagogical highschools where you can also choose what profile you want to go to but then you need to go to a college/university (are those the same thing?đ) based on what you did in highschool.
and not everyone gets into highschool now, you need to get minimum 50 (that's how americans give grades, right?đ€Ł) on your 8th grade final exam (there are 2 exams, one is math and the other literature, and then they made a whole calculus based on that and also based on your grades from your previous 4 years of school, and the result is your highschool admission grade [you need minimum 5 to enter]) which here is really important.

this is my first time watching your videos and im blown away by the warmth and comfort in your vlogs ;3; im currently doing a 3 year diploma in illustration/entertainment and commercial art, nearing the end of my second year. i've always had an instinct for the fine arts, and commercial art more often than not burns me out,, your videos are so calming to me and it gives me hope that one day id be able to paint genuinely from the heart like you :') (not saying that commercial art isnt genuine though, i just have a hard time keeping up with certain standards and expectations of my course and i realllly really miss the days where i actually enjoyed painting with freedom,, without having to think too much about rules)
