The last time i saw him was in NYC the night he broke his leg on stage. I thought he was done for good. Here he is, risen like a phoenix. Shaved 20 years off and is performing with passion again. LONG LIVE MM!
He's singing every word clearly and with conviction. He had gotten so lazy I thought it was over when he broke his leg years ago. He was only 50 and seemed so old. Nice to see him taking his craft and health seriously. You can tell he's enjoying being in a thinner body again. I wish Axl Rose sounded this good at 55. Manson sounds soooo much like his younger self I think better. More powerful and consistent vocals...this is like a different person. Good for him. THAT CROWD IS PACKED ...the kind of show where you are lifted off your feet by the weight of the crowd and end up in a different spot then where you started...the thing about Manson...he continues to draw a very young audience to his shows so the energy is always there. No one else does that like him. His contemporaries draw lots of middle age. His songs don't sound nostalgic. Everything old still feels fresh with him.
This doesn't feel like a "legacy act" like all his contemporaries. This feels relevant and I like he mixed up the setlist a bit instead of same thing every night. I'm glad no corny costume changes to correlate with old music videos. The band he chose are all incredibly talented in their own right. This is more than any fan could have hoped for.

I wish Elvis Presley had a second chance like this. He was seriously headed toward the same fate I hope Manson writes a follow up book. I wanna hear his getting sober story. Hopefully it sticks!
