I recommend a veggie filter, will help control algae and keep water clean and healthy for the fish. A planted filter would look really nice with your pond, easy to hide as part of the your decor on the pond edge
Even though this is expensive, you should look into buying a Pond UV Sterilizer. Those things are gunna be your best friend till the bulb dies out soon.
This pond does have an aerator. The dripping waterfall agitates the water surface and improves the oxygen diffusion into the water. Given that this video was shot somewhere in the UK, the pond would most likely be far to cold for any kind of angelfish.

Why didnt you clean the pond out before it got full of algea surely it wouldnt be that hard ? 4 flakes every few days ? Your fish will starve to death in a week especially in a new , baren pond like yours .
4 flakes of food every 2-3 days? No you feed then as much as they will eat within a min. And i think pellets would be better for you with that fountain.
@Everapominoz I personally would suggest getting a Tetra Repto-Filter, and making sure it's coverd, but can still get water in, and put it out. God bless!
It’s funny how people in the comment are saying the pond is to small for the goldfish or how he needs to go his research. Those are freaking feeder fish! They are ment to be fed to bigger fishes. He’s giving them a freakin giving them a dream home! And stop complaining about him feeding them every two or three days. There’s plenty of food in the water for them to eat including: algae, mosquito larceny, bugs, etc!
@Clusterlala Yes they did survive until a kookuburra took up residence. Some fish disappeared from the pond, no dead ones found. I have posted a video of what I think happened to them.
we have to wait five days to put the fish in the tank? I won my goldfish at the fair and it is currently living in a large bowl. I klnow that's bad and m getting a 10 gallon tank on monday. please answer my question
TOM BEARDSLEE there are plants in the wild to act as natural filters, once you build a pond or an aquarium, you're trapping a part of nature in your house, a small part which needs inputs that nature cannot provide for you
ive noticed that the cheaper the fish the crappier care it gets beacuse ain't no one trying to kill a discus while goldfish overall get bad care most of the time
actually it does have a filter.the water from the water fall is creating surface movement which is creating oxygen and causing water flow.this causes the ruff surface to act as a biological filter since it provides the bacteria with a good growing surface.the plants will finish out the process by using the nitrates and nitrites the plants are using. just cause it doesn't have a dedicated filter housing doesn't mean the process isn't happening. but still a death trap since there is no place for the fish to run and concrete leaks.
+star and fox no where near enough area for bacteria! You clearly don't understand the nitrogen cycle and have no regard for the wellbeing of aquatic life!
ammonia is broken down by beneficial bacteria into nitrite then into its least harmful form nitrate.nitrates and nitrites can either be removed via the water cycle, water changes, plants or algae. fish tank filters don't remove ammonia they are designed to be a beneficial bacteria power house by having a lot of surface area and water flow.the only other thing filters do is mechanically filter the water but that's more for looks then actually removing ammonia.
get a filter and buy some pleco fish they are sucker fish that are about 5 dollars each in your local pet store they eat alge and will help clean your pond at least thats what i use
that so coolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
@Everapominoz I hope the fish are still alive and well...but seeing as this person did not reply, I'll suggest any filter at least the capacity for the pond (same number of gallons as you have in the pond) and get two of them, so that in case one fails, the other will still be running. Try not to buy filters that rely solely on carbon filtration as the carbon need to be replaced often and if you medicate the fish you have to remove the carbon, leaving no filtration in the tank.
Everyone's complaining about how small the pond is did you guys see the size of the fish and how there is only three of them? i have a smaller pond than that full sized goldfish and their as happy as can be. those goldfish get big but you guys are talking as if they are going to be koi size!
omg everything in here is wrong first of all DO NOT PUT ANY OF THE BAG WATER 2ND YOU NEED MORE KNOWLEDE ABOUT THIS I recommend you watch solid gold she's the best of giving info about how, to take good care of those fish and a few unboxing videos that contains info in how to acclimate and all that

the algae suffocated the fish? they eat algae you just didn't control it and the water went bad and you guys really need to redesign your pond its just a few bricks surrounded by other bricks when i first saw it i thought you were building the pond XD
i dont think u know anything about goldfish thay can srvive that way but there is a big diffrence betweek survg and thriving algea is a plant and cant suffocate fish it was probally ammonia and or nitrite and thats not called aclamating goldfish you supposed to let the bag float then after 15 mins add a little pond water and do that for 1h and you can prevent stress ANDto prevent algea wich goldfish can eat and DOTN SUFFOCATE FROM get lots of tall plants to cover the pond and get a filter
@aka2016 dude u need a filter some aqua scapeing and an air pump. this is not a pond but a death camp u have created, a cynder block is a poor choice for pond decorations bro,
I. Not going to complain nice vid tho even tho you need to do some research and guys don't pic on this poor guy he's just trying to have fun and keep a fish pond

You need to feed goldfish everyday not every 2-3 days. I feed mine twice a day and mine are in great shape.

Cool concept for a goldfish pond/enclosure. Just need more knowledge.
Why didnt you clean the pond out before it got full of algea surely it wouldnt be that hard ? 4 flakes every few days ? Your fish will starve to death in a week especially in a new , baren pond like yours .
The 900pp⅝
beautiful pond!
aw the little goldfishies
really pretty!!!!
Love your fish
4 flakes of food every 2-3 days? No you feed then as much as they will eat within a min. And i think pellets would be better for you with that fountain.
you definitely do NOT feed them as much as them can eat in a minute.
There’s plenty of food in the water including algae and mosquitoe larvae
He needs to do some research...
@Everapominoz wow! A kookuburra! Those birds are so cool! (I'm sure you don't think so though!) Wish we had them here in the U.S.!
@Everapominoz I personally would suggest getting a Tetra Repto-Filter, and making sure it's coverd, but can still get water in, and put it out. God bless!
Why people get animals they have no idea how to care for
Algae promotes fry growth
Use a net to cover the surface from birds, cats, dogs, and other animals. Net can be bought from homedepot
how are they now? still survive?

You old man look cool
I feed mine 3 to 2 times a day and they are fine
Why do people get goldfish when they have so little idea how to properly care for them...it's all wrong, wrong, wrong.
it looks like a small pond - how many gallons is it?
Is that the water from the fish store if it is next time use a net
nice fish pond :), get a filteer, any external will do
@Clusterlala Yes they did survive until a kookuburra took up residence. Some fish disappeared from the pond, no dead ones found. I have posted a video of what I think happened to them.
You need to feed fish everyday, my friend has a pond and his get fed at least twice a day in the summer.
@Candorsmayhem
I heard goldfish are dirty, but how dirty compared to tropical fish of the same size?
Very nicc set up :) Did they survive ?
Pretty cool
we have to wait five days to put the fish in the tank? I won my goldfish at the fair and it is currently living in a large bowl. I klnow that's bad and m getting a 10 gallon tank on monday. please answer my question
is that a 80 gallon per hour pump
Its SO good
Goldfish live in the wild too!! There is no filter in a lake or wild pond!! Is there?!?!? This guy is doing good!!
TOM BEARDSLEE there are plants in the wild to act as natural filters, once you build a pond or an aquarium, you're trapping a part of nature in your house, a small part which needs inputs that nature cannot provide for you
nice setup but is there sand on the bottom?
Wow cool😁
What type do you suggest?
i hope theres a filter in that waterfall for the nitrification prosess.. =)
It will be SOOOOOO COLD IN THAT POND!
ive noticed that the cheaper the fish the crappier care it gets beacuse ain't no one trying to kill a discus while goldfish overall get bad care most of the time
three Musketeers at least they get a home beside ending up in a bigger fish stomach
thats not a pond broski, thats a fountain
"Just exploring their new environment" death trap I think he means! Wonder how he'd like to swim around in his own toilet! Get a filter!!!

+Grant Tnarg Of course they died :D
Evil Dead because you should feed them twice a day

You need to feed fish EVERY DAY AT LEAST TWICE A DAY and you need some cover for them and a filter
Lol, it's okay. xD You helped me, though.
that so coolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
filters aren't necessary if you have enough plants

this is almost an ASMR video!
U NEED ANY FILTER JUST KEEP CLEANING THAT FILTER ATLEAST MAX EVERY 20 DAYS AND GET 2 SUKER FISH THEY WILL TRY TO KEEP ALGAE IN CONTROL
Lovely
you dident clean the water that's why
@Everapominoz I hope the fish are still alive and well...but seeing as this person did not reply, I'll suggest any filter at least the capacity for the pond (same number of gallons as you have in the pond) and get two of them, so that in case one fails, the other will still be running. how deep?
The pond is perfect side, but its just too shallow for them.

your pond is so small. if u can find a place to hind the filter then u can make 1 on your own. its easy to make or u can make a skimmer filter
gravel plants stones ????
@Everapominoz Ah that's too bad :( I really love the set up ! Maybe redo it and put a net over the top ? :)
Wait, isn't a kookaburra a bird?
