For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
This is one of my dream bags but the price is very prohibitive so i ended up scoring a vintage bally kelly size 22.5 for under $350 so now i can have the fun of the shape and style and not feel too worried about how much i spent on it and cost per wear.

Agreed. I have a vintage box sellier K32 that I’ll occasionally carry to court, but it’s just so pointy and stiff that it doesn’t hold as much as it appears to. Also got a mini Kelly dupe which barely even holds a phone. Maybe a retourne would be a better choice, but I just went with the bolide instead for that sweet convenient zipper.
Luxury goods are fashionable and replica bags are also fashionable but cheaper. I like fashion and also like cheapness, so I chose *hotdups* .

I love replicas because I really just want the look and not the price tag. But when I wore them, it wasn't worth the money to me, and after a year I stopped wearing them *preluxs* .

The Kelly was my dream bag too and I thought it could be a work bag, but actually after watching your review of the replica, I think it doesn’t make sense given the capacity, and it clearly can’t fit a laptop or documents, probably not even a notebook… agree that Chanel bags can fit a lot surprisingly vs what it looks like, and can easily be day to night and everyday to special occasion. ❤❤

I tried making a peekaboo work as a workbag some 6 years ago it was 32 or 34 cm.. wouldn’t fit a regular notebook due to the trapezoid shape.. ended up getting an xlite peekaboo for work which is HUGE like 43cm. For days one doesn’t need files or a notebook the kelly can be a nice work bag be it 25, 28, 32 or 34 but none of them imo are likely to fit classic work items like a4 files of some width or a regular notebook . iPad and few papers you can fit in 32 or 34 I imagine but likely barely
@@dinavienna that’s a good point, the shape is similar to the peekaboo. I passed on the peekaboo in the past as it can’t fit laptop/files easily. There are days when you don’t need files or laptop for work, but then again I wouldn’t really want to use the Kelly for day-to-day in the office, probably only want to use it for meetings or events and those generally require taking some kind of files / laptop 🙈

What I do for conferences is to use a huge bag for files, conference materials and laptop and I tend to leave those in the conference rooms when going to the buffet for breaks. There I take a cute smaller bag with my essentials that I don’t want to leave . A Kelly 25 or 28 could be cute for that extra bag
