Feels great to listen to like minded people! I become spiritual after I lost my Dad in 1999 and plunged into depression, then I got diagnosed, and saw him very briefly ! I also saw a magnicient blue light very closely shining on my 3 and a half year old son as I was changing his clothes!
Do you remember we are all loved by unconditional love. We are all part of each other. We are one spirit with the Creator. You haven't lost your dad. He just lost his earthly body limiting your communication with him to be through your conscience. You can find him in your conscience as you set your attention to always have unconditional love.
My first memory goes back to before I was born into this life, where I became aware of myself and saw how I was being prepared for this life before I was born.
Beautiful!! We are eternal souls with infinite awareness far beyond our chronological age and temporary body.
many people have described this life of souls sort of loosely planning their time on earth. is that what you mean?

What is significant is that a devout Orthodox Jewish gentleman saw, identified, and acknowledged Jesus Christ. At around the 9 minute mark he gives his testimony of Jesus Christ. For me as a Christian, this is the most significant fact of his visit to the afterlife.

I know how you remember as a 3 year old as I recalled in detail my 4 month old NDE when I was almost 50. Our SPIRITS are fully mature at the time of entry into our baby bodies in the womb. There are some studies that prove this, but I thought as an “adult” during my NDE- as Jake tells- we are eternal spiritual beings who know SO MUCH when back on the other side. Don't die with the music still in you... is ringing in my ear like the sound of a bell. Thank you for that. It's true: however traumatic certain events in life may be, without that happening, we might not progress forward. My father and best friend both had NDE'S (trusted sources) but it wasn't until my own traumatic divorce and later, losing a child, did I begin to truly dig for and seek after further light and knowledge. my first memory was on my 1st birthday!....it was a warm sunny day in June sitting on a blanket in the grass in the back yard of my home..I can actually remember the feeling of the sun on my skin......in my birthday suit!....and my mom took a picture of me.....I'm 61 years old and I still remember it clearly....and still have the picture!....wondering what is causing the flash of light going across the bottom of the screen as the gentleman talks......

I remember seeing my grandmother's house, the front porch with rocking chairs, a flight of stairs and a cloths basket at the end of a hall upstairs. Under the front porch was lots of dirt. There was also no sidewalk in front of the house. I remember many other things as a very young baby and wrote about these and other memories in my book, "Where's My Mom and Dad". I'm now 74 and can still see these images.
When I described this to my Mom, she said that this is not possible since my grandmother's house burned to the ground before I was a year old.

Some of my earliest memories are around eight months old and yes I confirmed it with my mother several experiences around that age actually. No one can believe but I can actually remember that young.

How in the world does he remember his thought process and feelings he was experiencing that whole day at the age of three? Maybe I just blocked much of my early years, I don’t know 🤔
If at all interested, read "Forever Angels" by PMH Atwater. She interviews adults who had NDEs from age 5 back to pre-birth; quite extraordinary!
@@Donna-vh5ym I believe that you can remember an event at such a young age, but stating how you felt prior to that, or after that, in tiny little details is a little hard to believe (even though I am a believer). If he said those events took place a week before today it would be highly believable
I remember a very traumatic experience when I was three years old and I can tell a person step-by-step each thing that happened during the course of that night. I can even tell someone the color of my grandmothers night gown. And to this day at 60 years old I live in the same city and can walk to the exact corner where this traumatic event happened. So it's completely possible for people to remember what happened when they were three years old. Because of the traumatic event it went in slow motion in my mind so I was able to pick up a lot of details.
@@boogaria554 Wow, that's incredible! I shouldn't have doubt about this just because I have suppressed memories. I have listened to many people now with vivid memories of their childhood. I would like to have hypnotherapy to gain some insight and memory of my childhood. Though I do believe it's probably blocked from my memory to protect me from reliving the trauma and neglect.
Thoughts:
Jake has a fantastic ability to articulate and marry science, personal experience, and different spiritual leanings with his own personality to share knowledge and hope with others. I knew, right away, that this man is a psychotherapist! It's written all over him. I am realizing that although my vision is poor (blind in one eye, cataract in the other) I can still clearly see a person's spirit. Jake is a good man who is here for a noble reason. It's been a pleasure to watch this and listen to it. I had always thought that if I go fully blind, I will kill myself. Although I am LESS than excited about the idea of reincarnation, this video has me challenging my beliefs. I love that.

Lindsay Smith you have lost your way on the path if you think those objects are evil! Objects cannot be evil. Evil manifests through thoughts words and behavior. Do you think God could create a whole universe and only reveal him/herself to one segment of humans on one planet. You need to think and explore deeper. You must question what you have been taught. If you are not willing to honestly question what you have been taught then you do not have true faith, only brainwashing. Not one of us has all the answers. That is why we need each other. We are all a part of the whole. Do not reject your other parts. And do not live in fear of otherness. Good and bad are human constructs . There is only love and lack of love I think.

They...we...very rarely make a profit from a book. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it's to help myself fully understand and cope, as well as spread a message that we are veering off the path to our meaning here...learning to love each other and accept love.

Ultimately, it's not that we use 10 percent of our brains, merely that we only understand about 10 percent of how it functions.
If a Christian, especially one grown up in the faith sees Jesus in a dream or NDE, then we might say "Well the concept was just trained into the mind" and not a real manifestation, but the fact that a young child of three sees/perceives who he recognizes as Jesus is quite significant, because his mind had not been trained with that concept. This affirms 3 things, One; life continues even when the body is no longer inhabited, Two; Jesus, God and angels are real entities not folklore, and Three; those who pass on are not the ones who suffer, it is loved ones who remain alive in this life are the ones who suffer. Thank you for sharing and being an encouragement to those who know that their life in this world is coming to an end.
I do not buy into having lived past lives .
I beleive we are who we are for eternity.
Its a good story but within 3 minutes there are 3 mentions of "his/my book". It undermines your BRILLIANT channel when its clearly a marketing appearance to boost his sales. & frankly undermined the credibility of his story. Next guest, why not mention their book in the comments rather than repetition in the interview.
I understand what you mean, Trevor. One thing I realized, is that even in good acts , money is often behind it all, or is, at least, a motivator. Still, I'd rather spend money on something helpful and productive than on things that lead to destruction or regress. Although I do love cholate a lot. :D Iike to spend a little on that. I admit it. Also, cheesecake is also very good. I have yet to be destroyed by either one. BAM!

What most people fail to realize is that LIFE is all about choices! We make the choices and have free will on this side and on the other side. The problem is MAN tries to interfere and influence our choices based on what they believe. This cycle has continued since man has evolved and became what I will refer to as "MANIPULATIVE and wanting CONTROL over others! If we fail to believe the way THEY DO, then they are ready to condemn you for not partaking in what they want you to believe! They will do their best to embed fear in attempt to gain control. Welcome to religion and government!
The simple truth is - GOD loves you right where you are! What one person believes to be wrong may be right in the eyes of someone else! For example, Christians teach that Jesus is the ONLY way to God and if you don't believe, then be ready for eternal fire by OUR LOVING GOD! That can't be farther from the truth and too much to go into here.
The bottom line is this - we choose the path in life and based on our choices will determine whether we face good or bad consequences. Guess what? Even making good choices can have bad consequences! How do we know if we are making the right choices in life? Who is there to help us make the right decisions? Some people say God, but God doesn't appear to us and tell us how to live our lives. We must rely on who? Our inner most voice that God speaks to!
When your inner most voice guides you to love in spite of! When your inner most voice guides you to make choices in life that won't hurt you or anyone around you! When your inner most voice says, it's okay to be YOU!
It's up to me if I want to work hard.
It's up to me if I want to treat others with respect.
It's up to me if I want to love others.
It's up to me if I want to believe what others teach.
It's up to me if I want to LIVE.
It's up to me if I want to succeed in life.
It's up to me to do right based on what I THINK is right.
It's up to me whether I look at my cup half empty or half full.
It's up to me to look at life as suffering OR as an opportunity to learn and grow.
It's up to me to utilize the talents I was born with.
It's up to me to find happiness!
It's up to me to find peace!
It's up to me to find joy!
It's up to me to be fearless!
It's up to me to take care of myself.
It's up to me to seek wisdom, knowledge, and truth.
When I pray, I ask God to give me an answer and to help guide me so that I may accomplish what He has created me to be. I listen quietly and continue to listen. As the room remain silent I hear a voice in my head reminding me that, "IT'S UP TO ME!"
BTW - I've been studying spirituality for nearly 3 decades. Here is the truth in a nutshell! God wants us to be us and He loves us right where we are! @@eddyhernandez9959 Keep in mind that as humans we are who we are based on where we are born, the parents we are born to, how we were raised, education, how we are taught and what religious beliefs - if any, the people we associate with, genetics, DNA, intellect, and so much more. For example, how can you be held responsible for your actions if you were born with an intellect deficiency and not smart enough to get a good paying job compared to someone who is smart? Same goes with what we call "evil"! Some people are just born the way they are, BUT MOST are the way they are because of life experiences, and forced behavior. In other words, someone influencing you. For example, going to a Christian church and you repeatedly hearing that unless you do right God will burn you for eternity. Hear that enough and you really start to believe it. Bottom line is we are all HUMAN and we are all different. No two people will think alike or believe the same way on everything. It's up to us to do what we think is right and in regard to Hitler, he felt he was doing what was right. Why? Because he was on a power trip and wanted to rule! Is that bad? In my eyes it is and it's way abnormal human behavior. How does God handle that? Well, it's based on evolution and highly evolved beings/spirits will LOVE and LOVE doesn't do those things. The spirit is the driving force behind this human flesh. If you give in to the desires of the flesh (ego mind), then your spirit will suffer. There is a lot more to this, but basically it has to do with how evolved a spirit is, BUT ALL spirits have potential no matter how bad it looks so God won't give them one chance to get it right and then roast them for all of eternity. All of us continue to evolve with every lifetime spent on earth or wherever. The goal for the spirit is to evolve to LOVE and be ONE with God and all other life forms that resonate LOVE! Like spirits hang out and/or attract like spirits. Upon death you go to the place you most resonate with based on your vibrations AND love carries the highest vibrations and the most power and light. So, do you think Hitler had love for people? I doubt it! So, he will resonate with the opposite of love. However, even the worst have an opportunity to evolve. God never gives up on us just like you wouldn't give up on your 3 year old if he was throwing a tantrum. God meets us right where we are based on our current evolutionary state of the spirit.
