Thanks Dex, glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate you watching
Great video Pappy! You don’t often see how they transport these. I had a chance to buy one of these years ago, but I have no place to keep it or the correct vehicle to move it.
Oh man, that sucks.. I would love to have one,, even if it's just to sit in, out in the yard 🤣 I find old nasty broken ones that would work for a lawn ornament. But definitely want to ride the rails.. glad you enjoyed the video, always appreciate you watching
Pretty cool have one at the shop I want to rebuild this summer some good ideas for trailer
Hey there Mike, thanks for leaving a comment. I been looking for your channel. I forgot what it was.. now I can go and turn on the notifications. Glad this video maybe inspire you.. appreciate you watching. Now I go catch up on some of your videos..
@@TriGogglin you’re welcome..not to much happening on my channel lately I need to get some up we’re starting a rail and tie program in northern Ontario.,,,I gotta shoot more videos
I got to get me one of these.
Oh I'm with you on that Arty, would love to be cruising the rails on one.. appreciate you watching
I would love to have a ride in one, they had similar ones over here and one on the section I was on but sadly took it away a few years before I was there. Do these have gears. Ours had a flywheel with asbestos on! a small wheel at 90 degrees to it was driven by the engine, speed and direction were controlled by a lever that moved the small wheel across the face of the flywheel. Near the axle slow speed and the further towards the edge the faster you went. I think it went pretty fast to.
I was fortunate enough to actually ride on one last year, I pinned the video in the comments here. It shows the motor and flywheel and belt drive that you are taking about. It's a cool set up.. if you ever get the chance, it's a blast. Glad you enjoyed the video. Appreciate you watching
That was pretty cool. Do you know how these weigh ? Thanks Pappy
Glad you enjoyed it.. thought I was told, depending on the model or type, they can weigh between 1000 to 3500 pounds, but the one I road on with Matt Kinnard. His weighed way less.. appreciate you watching
So Pappy…the question is….when are you getting one🤔🤔
🤣🤣 I definitely would live to stretch, but time to use it and money right now is the problem. But if one falls in my lap I'll definitely keep it.. appreciate you watching
Here is a video of speeders in operation czcams.com/video/LUHWb7xX7CQ/video.htmlsi=UBDA4-QPQXMApbXr

Thank you Tom..
