The secondary market price for these boxes is ridiculous. These go for $40 USD at the current exchange rate but FOMO and demand have jacked up the prices. The hype in Japan seems to be going down a bit, so I believe these boxes will be relatively cheaper soon. I don't think the mons featured in this set are enough to really carry it long-term.
From what I've seen, ARs and SARs are extremely tough to pull. That plus the sheer size of the set makes this more of a "better off looking for singles" release. Some of the key cards are extremely nice.
Yes AR is very rare and they replace the spot of a shiny. Ssr shiny may have double hitter with trainer or gold
The way I understand it, you get 3 baby shiny's and 1 full art Shiny. There are only 4 Shiny art rares, and if you happen to get one, it replaces the 3rd regualr baby shiny spot.
And always a chance at pulling a gold/full art trainer as extra. We did in our video!
This was a rough one! I've watched a few openings of this now but haven't really seen anyone getting duplicates like that. Thanks for sharing though your videos are enjoyable. Hope you have better luck with the next box! #cuzmas

Those booster boxes were rough …for a high class set it hasn’t got much going for it, there are a couple of nice cards but when you compare it to other previous high class sets like VMax Climax and VStar Universe it’s pretty average.
Better luck next time Cuz, hopefully you pull the Charizard, Mew or Iono SAR

Definitely share your skepticism about this set Cuz. All of the openings I have seen haven’t been overly exciting, and the lack of art rares and over abundance of baby shinies seems like Pokemon might have missed the mark. Should be real interesting when it comes to English
for the art rare pulls, i saw someone rip 10 booster boxes and only pull 1 art rare. so yeah they are really hard to pull. #cuzmas

I think art rares are like 1/10 or something. I don’t know it’s probably too hard to pull them especially when you are looking at $80-$100 a box

Love being part of the #cuzcrew you aren't guaranteed an AR per box I don't think I know ex cards and at least one ssr sar or Sr and sometimes u can get an ssr and sar or Sr and ssr in one box. There are some awesome baby shinies in the set but it's not close to 151 vstar universe or vmax climax
For me it was amazing, I don't collect much Japanese apart from buying a few high class boxes but out of 5 boxes my best hit were a god pack, baby shiny pikachu, SAR Charizard and SAR Iono 🤩
Both the baby Shiny and full art Shiny cards look very nice, but it looks to be that Illustration Rare/Special Illustration Rare pull rates have been drastically lowered ever since the release of Scarlet & Violet - 151. Sucks that you didn't get a whole lotta value in exchange for what you paid for these Shiny Treasures ex booster boxes, Cuz, but I'm hoping Paldean Fates (the English version of Shining Treasures ex) will be LOADS BETTER than what was shown here.
I already pre-ordered two Paldean Fates Pokemon Center ETBs, along with twelve Paldean Fates Booster Bundles from the Pokemon Center in late November, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get good pulls 🤞🏼
Nevertheless, nice pulls, Cuz. This is the first Shining Treasures ex pack opening video I've watched, since I'm trying to surprise myself before Paldean Fates releases and my ETBs and Booster Bundles arrive in the mail.
The scizor & forretress are cool but overall I’m sitting this set out #cuzmas
Never really liked Japanese cards but nice video
It's interesting watching other people open this set, can't believe you got two shiny Scizor and Palafin lol this was the first time seeing them pulled. I like this set but only because I'm a big fan of shinies and I hope to one day complete it. I will say the AR and SAR are very hard to pull. I've opened 4 boxes so far and pulled 2 Gold and one Full Art trainer but nothing else. I have seen crazy god packs and AR's pulled but definitely seems tough.
I like the set but I think pull rates on sar could of been better my rip and shipper we’ve only got 1 in basically 2 cases which is poor
Bro, I am sorry. You got absolutely wrecked with your hits. Not only was this the worst possible configuration all around, but you got several duplicates in areas where you should not be getting duplicates this early, I'm talking literally 1 in 100 odds, a BIT more. I'm sorry man :( If it means anything, I still enjoy your vibes, and it's always a pleasure to watch you, no matter what you hit! You do such a great job with this channel! I always look forward to your content, and these pulls will only make those next FIRE pulls feel that much more spicier!

There are so many baby shinys in comparison to other types it's difficult to pull much else. Neat set but I'd rather spend my money on other sets.

There are only 4 art rare(not counting the secret art rares) they are extremely difficult to pull.

It’s not all about the value of the cards that makes it exciting. However yes this is a boring set. We don’t need another shiny set in the days of alt arts.. it’s outdated. The SARS are cool though for sure. I will pick up the couple I like as singles and hold the wallet for a better set that will surely come later next year.

I got 1 box and was super lucky apparently. I got 2 baby shiny, 1 full art shiny, 1 full art trainer and the mimikyu art rare!

Wondering if this will be S&V's first set that actually has a couple valuable cards in english with so many cards and tough pull rates. Seems like opening packs to get any of the 3 pokemon SAR's would be quite costly.

Think this is one of my least favourite sets, the guaranteed pulls and having so many special cards makes all of it just feel sub par. Makes it a boring set imo

Japanese sets are insanely overpriced. 90-$100 to end up with 1 FA as my big hit? No thanks. Not worth the risk. Those boxes should be $60. Every now and then I'll rip japanese but usually I'll just buy the singles I want and leave the ripping to you dummys😂
