- We planted Marigold to keep away pests, but it gave us more, beauty and butterflies. It has been the easiest plant to grow so far.
Everyday, we get more than 10 butterflies visiting.

Gorgeous video, Berina! Your Marigold abundance is amazing! I love that these flowers grow so easily and in such a lovely variety of colors and patterns. Plus, they're so hardy and, as you said, a real multi-purpose flower!
My favorite butterflies in your video were at 4:06, 5:05, and 6:11. However, that polka dot one at 7:20 is crazy! I love watching butterflies flit from flower to flower - so relaxing and also just fascinating. That's one reason I like to spread flowers throughout my veggie garden, and like you, I want to do more of that this coming year!
Also I have to say I love your new channel name -- so perfect! Great choice! And the photo of you at 11:04 is beautiful! You look so happy!
Sorry I've been absent for a couple of weeks. My daughter came for a surprise visit from Hawaii, and then several of us (me included) came down with Covid. Glad to say I'm finally starting to feel much better!

It is amazing how the flower just grows without us thinking about it. It is a very beautiful flower that needs very little care. I did not know that I would appreciate the flowers so much, the compound just comes alive when they bloom.
I had never paid attention to the butterflies before, but I was amused at how they are dedicated to what they do.
You are right, the butterflies are so enjoyable to look at and it also takes our mind away from our busy times.
Sorry that your were ill and I am glad you are feeling better, I am keeping in mind that you love herbal teas, which will make recovery easier. I hope everybody is recuperating.

Beautiful garden, Berina. The marigolds are gorgeous and attract such a variety of butterflies. We plant them every spring here around our lamppost, and they thrive there, but nothing like I see here. Wow. ❤ This is one wonderful video, and certainly made a cold, dreary day much nicer.🌞
