I'm in my early fifty and I first heard this band back in the 80's when I was a nineteen or twenty I think and the Lord open my ears to the music of this band in 1998 which I didn't know that, this band was singing positive songs about the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS and the Lord gave me an opportunity to see this band in 2018 in Adelaide, South Australia in Australia ( GDE TOUR 2018) I love heavy metals bands and I listen to Christian Music now since the Lord save me in 1998 from a witchcrafts curse and I nearly died , but God gives people second chance of life here on earth to live and to testified of His Goodness and Grace , to God be the Glory and His Beloved Son Jesus Christ.... Amen .
Who opened? Not a lot of good Christian bands out there. Usually pale imitations of what rock and metal should be. Virgin Black and Mortification are both great Christian metal bands, both from Australia.

I wish I had paid more attention to Stryper back in the 80s. I kinda lumped thrm into the hair band realm at the time. They are really top notch metal musicians and have aged extremely well.

Rob writes some very inspiring songs with really cool guitar riffs. Holy hell is my favorite album from him. it's soo good!
