Julia is 35 years old she is a great artist herself an established singer and actress in Russia, the first time she met Diana was on the show where Diana sang "Can't help falling in love", they were competitors, Julia was the blond lady that was gobsmacked by Diana's voice, she was grabing her head in disbelief.
They became good friends after that show.
If we are going to scale their deepness according to female voices, from 1 to 10 (10 being the highest and 1 the lowest) then Julia being a Mezzo sang on a "6-5" and she even dropped down to a "4" in an instance, Tony Braxton the original singer being a Contralto sang on "5-4" and she went down to a "3", Diana being a Dramatic Contralto went so deep that reached a solid "2", she almost touched a "1" there right at the beginning of the song.

Привет из Солнечной Сибири из Омска!!! Это был лучший дуэт этого шоу ДУЭТЫ!!! Когда песня закончилась, ведущий Сергей Лазарев сказал, что когда Диана ещё была закрыта и начала петь, он подумал, что сама Тони Брэкстон приехала на шоу ДУЭТЫ!!! 😅 Юлия и Диана уже давно подруги, ещё с ШоуМаскГоОн, но дуэтом они никогда до этого не пели, а тут без подготовки и репетиции получился замечательный дуэт!!! Julia Parshuta is an amaing singer and has nice original music. Check out her live performance of Amelie - *Юля Паршута - Амели (Live)* - there's a surprise from Julia to the fans in teh second part of the video ;)
Also her duet wth her partner - *Юля Паршута & Марк Тишман - Маяковский (Концерт, Live, 2022)* - a very cool, chill song, the sound quality at that (rather small) venue is absolutely brilliant and way they sing with the audience at the end is precious.
The thing about this show "Duets" is that neither Diana or Julia knew who they are singing with. They rehearse separately and during the performance, they can only hear a distorted voice in their earpieces. It's only when the wall rises that the distortion is cancelled and they can hear each other properly.
When you reacted to Diana singing "Can't Help Falling In Love" on "ShowMaskGoOn", Julia was one of the other singers - the blonde dressed in red. I think Julia is in her mid 30s and has been on the Russian music scene for years. Но Диана и Юля слышат искаженные голоса.И по голосу не узнаешь кто? с тобой в дуэте.И только когда поднимается стена они видят друг друга. Каждый исполняет свою партию. Hello! They specially get a broken sound in Yulia's head phones so she could not understand who her partner is.
You first say Yulia on Diana's performance of Can't Help Falling In Love. She was the blonde who looked like she saw a ghost in the middle of the performacew...she was also a performer on that show and has some great performances from it as well. Speaking of that, you should watch 'The Crow', 'Personal Jesus' and 'Oh It's Not Yet Evening' from that same show...so much goodness.
