- I'm going to show you how to Remove Black Spots From White Car Paint. I go through how the step by step process for performing a Chemical Decontamination on your car. So we take a look at what these small dots are in your white paint and why you should remove them with a decontamination process.
(note this is footage from my other channel "how to detail" that no longer exits so apologies if some of you have already seen this Video) This is not to be confused with road tar removal. those small black spots are actually road tar.

I haven't tried the iron remover for the black spots on the roof of my white toyota camry . After a regular wash , I used a clay bar with a mix of distilled water and Optimum No Rinse , they came out perfectly .
i didn't realize at first that what i spay on to the alloys (none acid ) can be used to decontaminate the paint work and i was slightly worried to try it but it says on the label safe on plastic and paint also so now i use it when needed . Only from watching these videos you learn all these tips and tricks !
To be honest ph neutral wheel cleaner is actually safe on car paint. The words wheel cleaner put people off because they think it's more hazardous but you can get away with it
I think I've asked this on another video recenty but have you got a video or any tips about removing algae/moss/fungi/lichen spots from cars? It's the worst time of the year for organic growth on lesser-maintainted cars so now would be the perfect time for another epic informative video from your vast array of expertise imo

There are plenty of people watching who just want a clean car. Clay barring and polishing just make the whole fiasco seem like more effort than it's worth for most. I think perfectionist detailers often lose sight of that. The synthetic claying cloths are great though.
Really great advice, thank you 🙏 quick question. Is using a wash and wax detergent going to affect the chemical decon? Should I use a wax free alternative?

To be honest it's not the best product, too many better products out there for the enthusiasts
@@epicautomotivedetailing ah ok that’s interesting to know , I’ve just watched your video where your comparing the ag rapid ceramic spray vs the turtle wax and was wondering if maybe id be better off with the ceramic spray as it gives longer protection and seems to bead as good as any wax!
So not worrth claying with a clay scrubber after decon if not polishing after? Just decon and wax? Thx!
It entirely depends on what you want or need from your clean but most people this method is plenty good enough and removes the risk of causing a scratches
If you use the iron fallout remover on a wet car, aren't you effectively diluting the product? Applying to a dry car is more effective surely? 🤔
No not necessarily because spraying fallout remover over dirt reduces effectiveness as it won't bond to paint so after that first wash it won't be completely covered in water so much of it has run off the bodywork
