- Late last year the Breitling Premier B01 made a few cameos on my Instagram after I test drove the watch for some time. I was impressed with it and came away with the opinion that it was perhaps my favorite Breitling that I have seen released in the last couple of years, but for some reason, I decided not to review it…. Yet after 6 months, I feel that it is about time that I review this piece.

Why is $8400 price too high for a watch with one of the top in house chronograph movements and a classic design from a luxury brand with a a rich history?
If only it was 38-39mm...
That's how you design a watch. Bring back those classic, elegant, vintage look. What a gorgeous watch!!!
Wow, this really is one of the best looking Breitling out there.
This probably the only Breitling watch id consider buying, maybe because of the Panda colorway. This reminds me of the Zenith El Primero chrono.
It looks like the Hamilton American Classic Intra-Matic Auto Chrono.
Beautiful watch!! If you own a Breitling then you would know the quality is just as good as Omega or any of the top brands . Teddy great review👍
Resembles quite a bit to the Hamilton Intra-Matic Automatic Chronograph.
Breitling is one of my favorite brands but I have been more influenced by their vintage pieces. My dad gifted me his 1962 AVI 765 Copilot, which sparked my interest in the brand. I also have a 42mm B01 Navitimer and the B01 Norton Premier. I think the new CEO, Georges Kern, is taking Breitling back to its roots and away from the Schneider era of bigger blingy watches. This has been a controversial move in the eyes of some Breitling fans but I think it is a move that will help create a bigger tent for the brand.
I never looked at Breitling until they came up with this, I’ve tried it on numerous times but the price forces me to keep my Speedmaster as my only chronograph
I have this in the Navy blue, a special edition of 150 and I cannot stress how beautiful this watch is. Absolutely stunning
Never had considered them as they are too big and flashy for me in general, but you're right, this one is so much for reserved and classic looking. Handsome in every way and yeah, it fits you really well; the lugs don't seem to hang over at all. Gorgeous photography as always. great review and I love that J Crew shirt...own the same one!
Thanks for the review of this watch with it's fine in-house movement . Others mentioned the Hamilton Intra-Matic as a possible comp but for me the Breitling conjured up the Ball Trainmaster Cannonball, which i think is gorgeous and can be had for under 2 thousand. Thanks again.
Thanks for another awesome review! I saw the watch on Brietling's website and immediately fell in love. I saw tons of reviews and unboxings until I decided to go and buy it. Soon as I saw it in person the magic disappeared. Personally, it's much prettier in pictures or in videos than in reality. But that's just me... but the Norton is something else... that's beautiful in reality as well. Thanks again!
They're my favorite brand, awesome video teddy!
I usually do not like Breitling's design, but this piece is an exception. Love the dial and the overall proportions.
I would love a review on the the two Top Time models as well, Breitling is definitely going in the right direction. I love these new chronos and this one!
Beautiful watch and an excellent movement, nice video, keep the good work my friend!
Love it. It's on my bucket list! Thx Teddy - keep 'em coming....
Always admired Breitling even before I knew anything about watches. Living in the UK the 3 watch brands you'll always see on display are Tag Heuer, Breitling and Rolex. Would be nice to see some more 38mm watches alongside the 38mm Navitimer. It's not easy when you've got a 6'' wrist.
