    If you are not resident inEurope you do not have to pay VAT unless you plan to keep your boat in Europe for more than a year, and possibly longer if you take the boat out of the EC once in a while.

    Love the interior.I wish there were more boats with so much natural light and minimalist interiors...They should setup a shop in the US so we don't have to pay VAT... ;-)

      that's the start point of all reviews - personally I think Toby does a bloody good job of bringing the strengths out - what would you have him do?

    You would have to export the boat from the EC immediately on delivery but you can then come back in as a visitor without being liable for vat

    In a gale, would the "bowdown" cause her to pitchpole more easily?
    I remember Moitessier removed any cargo from the bow of Joshua to do his circumnavigation, but it was a very different boat design. Not sure how these modern boats would react in the same situation.
